When I am stretching, the first place I feel tension is along the dorsal side. Looking at the anatomy and probing around a bit, it feels like it imight be the dorsal vein. Not only is this the first tension, when I am at full stretch, this feature seems to be bearing a great deal of the force.
First, am I correct the vein is what I am feeling? Second, is there anything I should be wary of in stretching if this is the case. Finally, if, as I am guessing, that this is a limiting factor for length, how can I target this area in my routine?
