Stretching question

So on the newbie routine it says to slowly build up till your doing 10 minutes of stretching. I’m currently at 6 but my question is. Do you increase the amount of time spent on each stretch? OR do you just do each stretch over? Hope this makes sense

I would keep the amount of time per stretch at a reasonalbe. Something like 20-30seconds per angle. How much do you do now?

This is good, think static not ballistic. Hold out the stretch 20-30 seconds per angle.

Right now I do 5 angles (down, up, left, right, straight out) at a minute a piece, then do it all again. From your post, I’m guessing it would be better to do each stretch 4 times at 30 seconds instead of twice at a minute?

This is what I do for the stretching portion. Warm-up for like 8 minutes, 30 seconds up, 30 seconds down, 30 seconds left, 30 seconds right, 30 seconds circle one, warm-up for 1-2 minutes again, 30 seconds up, 30 seconds down, 30 seconds left, 30 seconds right, 30 seconds circle one, warm-up for 1-2 minutes again, 30 seconds up, 30 seconds down, 30 seconds left, 30 seconds right, 30 seconds circle one, warm-up for 1-2 minutes again, then onto my jelqing :)

I can’t see anything wrong with holding a stretch for a minute. The only reason I don’t is because my hand gets tired after about 30 seconds. I would do the one minute stretches twice. Good luck :)

A minute is impressive. I do about 20-30 sec. Each direction. The tough part for me is keeping a good grip. I am very fond of BTC stretches. I wish I could figure out a way to keep that in a ADS stretch. Any way from what I have read consistency is the key to any exercise.
