Excellent question, it is imperative that you hang from all angles. I started hanging down, in my opinion, it is best to build your resistance in this position, so you may want to dedicate for quite some time in this modality. Once you can hang 15+ lbs then branch out to incorporate the four compass points. It has been my experience that you will plateau and when gains stop for a period of 6mos. Then moving to other angles will help to continue gaining.

Do not worry about incorporating different angles until you have gained over an inch in the downward position.

The process of improving your erectile system requires time and the big reason for the long duration is that expanding blood tissue is a slow process. This is the reason that gains come sporadically, you can go long periods with no gains and then you spring wood one day and it surprises you that your erection is .5 inch longer. It is like a clog being cleared in the pipeline, but it is just the expansion of vessels that all of a sudden reach critical levels that result in improved size. So, you need to realize that measuring every day is self-defeating and you should only measure when your eyes give you the new metric (the eyes are very attuned to small proportional changes).

Man.. I would love to have an inch from just hanging straight down. I am doing 2lb right now.. for a week now. I just want to condition my penis first before I move on to heavier weight. When I do BTC angle, I feel more “bending sensation” of my lig than the straight-down angle. Isn’t the goal to lengthening the ligs at the base?

I have a tendency to over do it, so I want to progress much slower this time (sigh… if I could only stay flaccid most of the time).

Any idea on how to reduce erection when your own hand is touching?

It took me 10-12mos for the first inch, just know your improving every day regardless the outward appearance. I do not think of hanging as lengthening anything, it’s purpose is to weaken the physiology and allow more of your inner penis to present under the same erectile pressure. People have different opinions but this is my experience.

Some blood engorgement is good, as long as you are not fully rigid. What I would do in your case to reduce hardness is put a rigorous stretch on the scrotum, grab the dorsal side of your penis with the left hand and the loose skin of the scrotum with your right hand and stretch like a “mofo.” This will release blood from your erection and it is also good to stretch the scrotum. The scrotum is a rich area of blood tissue and rigorous stretching will allow a greater supply to the erection (increasing surface area). You want to hold the stretch for one minute, relax and hold the stretch again (6-8 times), good to do a couple sets twice a day.

So it is ok to have say 10-20% erection while hanging? Well.. every time I hang, I start off with 20-30% erection, and then the erection goes away as the hanging continues and I am focused on other tasks like watching TV.

Could clarify the stretch?

1) Grab the dorsal side of the penis. Near the gland? or it doesn’t matter?

2) Stretch the scrotum with right hand. Basically I just grab the ball sack and pull down right?

Do you do this stretch as part of your regular stretch routine? Besides hanging, do you do other manual exercises?

I hang BTC everyday 6x20min without rest days :) and i am gaining pretty good ;) I don’t jelq and i don’t do stretches

The appearance of any well conditioned penis will be a very vascular rich and veiny penis, it will resemble a relief map. I started with your typical small, pink, smooth penis (this is no good), you have to develop the vascular components. In order to do this you have to move blood under pressure (jelqing) or statically (clamp), this expands blood tissue and creates large erections. So, it is always best to manipulate your penis with the chambers partially filled, I always start hanging in this state and the pressure of the hang creates a ballooning of the glans which helps head girth. As you hang the penis will go soft which is fine, the captured blood in the head usually stays due to the pressure created by the hanging apparatus.

Yes, you just grab the sack and stretch it big time, it is best to shave your sack to get the best grip and pain free stretch. It helps because the physiology of the sack and attachment to the underside of the penis affect erectile enlargement (blood source and resistance to enlarging). Other manual exercises stem around jelqing technique and targeted squeezes or uli’s. If you understand what makes you big, you can just do a couple elementary exercises and dispense with the rest of the garbage. I have never clamped because I believe hanging gives me the effects and the aggressive stricture of a clamp is better left for metalworking. That internal penis stretch is garbage.
