When I did the everyday stretching routine. My ligs started hurting only when I stretched hard directly against them. (stretching downward). I kept going but I put less stress on the ligs by stretching more straight out. Usually this was enough to let me gradually recover (over the course of a few days) and make that dull ache at the base/ligs go away. Example. Day x(morning, night) 1(straight out, straight out) 2(Straight out, 45deg down) 3(45 deg down, >45 down) 4(down as normal against ligs, down as normal against ligs).
But it’s up to you, if your concerned about pain and feel as those you need a break then you probably do. Pm me again if you got any more questions.
