Stretching in between jelq sets

Can anyone answer if it is beneficial to stretch between jelq sets. I have only been at this for about three weeks so forgive my ignorance. My first two weeks I would stretch for 5-10 min then jelq for 10, I would feel plumper for a few hours then go back to normal. This last week stretched a couple minutes then started to jelq. After 3 or 4 min I had the urge to stretch a bit more, so I did and then went back to jelqs. The second set of jelqs was completely different feeling. Almost like there was more there to plump up, and then going back to stretching there would be even more there to lengthen. So I am wondering if disecting a normal routine and instead of stretch then jelq, alternating them through the work out would cause a more effective routine.

Stretching doesn’t take a whole lot of time. Do it before your workout. Also get in the habit of doing some pulls when you are in the shower; those are easy and can be fun. You can do some pulls before you pee. You can do some while watching TV, assuming you are not in a club or sports bar. :)

I actually give a pull at the end of each jelq.When I reach the glans, it works as kind of a “stop”, so I pull hard against it, I don’t feel much of a stretch but I figure it can’t hurt.

Is there anyway of knowing the right amount of force to use when stretching? Thus far I have been pulling very hard but I feel like somehow a lighter stretch might be just as effective. Also I caused a bruise on my glans from gripping incorrectly so I never want to deal with that issue in the future.

I’ve been wondering the exact same thing lately. There’s an online blog called Jelq Skeptic where the author had some very impressive gains in less than a year with minimal effort. The one thing I noticed was the way he would break up his jelqing and stretching into smaller sets, alternating between the exercises, just like you did. I haven’t yet read about anyone doing it this way on this website. Thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

And if anyone is interested in reading more just Google Jelq Skeptic. It’s actually a very well-documented log of his PE experience and success.

I think I will continue this routine until the end of this month, when I will have my first month measurement. If no gains are observed then I may go back to a normal newbie routine. I can not help but think that splitting up the sets will work better, for me anyways. Having said that everyone responds different to different routines. For me there is a much better pump and stretch when splitting them up though.

Your talking about splitting the sets in the same work out, right ? . that seems like it would be hard to do, being that stretching is done when your pretty flaccid, and jelqing is the opposite

Well from a convenience stand point this routine is not ideal. Having said that, this forum or PE in general would not exist if our mission was convenience.

My goal is length so I try to maintain an erection level of 50%. This helps with becoming flaccid enough to stretch, just take a 30 second or minute break and ready to stretch. I have also found that using a minimal amount of lotion for jelqing is ideal. I jelq for three or four minutes and by then the lotion has lost all of its slickness, and clean up going into stretching is not an issue.

As soon as I start to get even 50% erect , stretching seems pointless,, there isn’t any “give” left

Before stretching I wait for erection level to subside to probably 25% or lower erection level. At which point it is pretty well just a plumped up flaccid state.

Another question, in about a week and a half I am going to post first months measurements. Should this be done on this thread or start a new one?

Just to clarify, the routine looks like this.
- 3 minutes stretching all directions (flaccid)
- 4 minutes jelqing @50% erection
- 3 minutes stretching @ 25% erection or less, all directions.
- Repeat last two steps three times

This routine takes about 25 minutes (not counting warm up).

Is there no one who has ever tried anything similar?

just do it. sounds good.

some do alternate stretch and jelq on days and soem do it in the same session.

If you out int he intensity you will grow. Jsut switch up things now and then and keep it guessing..

I have been doing this split routine for over a month now and I have to say it is working very well. Flaccid especially hangs low and heavy nearly all the time. And when I pulled out of my gf last weekend it was bigger than I have ever seen it. No measurements yet. Waiting for the two month mark. High hopes for 1/4 inch in length.
