Hey guys I have been doing the newbie routine for sometime now,looking mainly to gain length then will look for girth later on basically it’s the newbie routine,looking to clamp but can’t find the cable clamp till now where I am and can’t buy a hanger as well and couldn’t fabricate any from the pics I have seen for home made hangers so my question is it possible to gain nicely from stretching and jelqing only or will I be wasting my time,did anyone gain 2 inches or so from stretching?? Thanks

Sounds to me like you are a little overwhelmed by the whole PE thing … don’t be.

It is true that there is a lot to learn and a lot of ways to increase your gains and refine your approach: Clamping, hanging, pumping, heat lamps, ADS devices, etc … . You could easily get discouraged if you let yourself … but don’t.

Go ahead and start with the newbie routine. There is no equipment required and there are tons of guys that have posted some good gains with that routine. I was able to get 3/4th of an inch before I started to experiment with hanging. With time and consistency it is possible that you can reach your goals with just manual exercises.

If you keep doing the newbie routine for 3 or 4 months I am sure that at some stage during that time you will find yourself in a Home Depot or a Lowes somewhere and you can spend $3 and buy a few cable clamps … or buy them online.
The Capt’ns Wrench is essentially some strips of velcro cut on a specific way to formulate a hanging device … I think that I spent $15 on the materials. It isn’t hard at all to put together … but you don’t have to do it right away. Just take it a step at a time.

In the end, I found that after all of my worry about the required hardware and the potential expense, I ended up sending less on my hardware than i spent on beer for a month … and that is after i screwed up my first couple of atempts at building a wrench

I have been here for so long reading and peing but not regularly,now it’s been like 6 months doing newbie routine but never done hanging or clamping till now

You can not find velcro where you are at? I am not mechanically inclined but I was able to wip together a Captain’s Wench.

My first attempt at hanging involved a sock, a shoe string, and a milk jug. Be creative!

I have not reached the 2” mark yet but I can say that 90% of my length gains came from manual stretching. I experimented with hanging, ADS, and other devices but nothing gave me the complete workout feeling that came from manual stretching. I am able to use more force and have more control over my exercises when I use my hands. Just my .02

With that being said, you can also find clamps at Wal-mart. You may want to invest in more than one pack if you are like some of us that occasionally break them due to too much engorgement. I love clamping…I like seeing how it balloons up during the exercises and it basically gives you a preview of what to expect if you are consistent and stick with it over time.

Congratulations skeebo, those are very impressive gains. Over what period of time did you make those gains, and have you posted your routine on here previously?

Thank you for the support irishjim. From January 2008 to March 2010 I was only able to gain a little more than a quarter of an inch in length. It was definitely a little discouraging and frustrating and I initially took it as me just being a hard gainer. In March of 2010 cervixhunter posted a routine that he had been doing over the period of a few months:

After reading that thread about that routine, it was like a light bulb went off in my head telling me that that was the type of routine that I needed. Aside from the initial first few months of adjusting from everything involved, it basically skyrocketed my gainswhen it came to length. I averaged 1-2 mm in BPFSL a month and about 1 mm in BPEL for growth each month that I measure.

I have been doing a slightly modified version of that routine (more suitable for me) since that thread was made. With the way that my gains have been consistently coming, I have had no reason to look elsewhere.

You’ve had great success since adopting this routine and that is awesome. Curious to know - what does your current routine look like, nearly 4 yrs into your PE career?

Goal by Jan 1, 2013 - EL- 7.5", EG- 6" -----> I have a LONG way to grow :)

Thanks for the kind words iGrow. As of now my routine is basically a modified version of the routine that I linked to earlier that I do in the morning. In the evening I do clamping for girth work. I am currently experimenting with two routines a day to see if this is something I can benefit from or not. If you want me to go into more details then let me know.
