I do 10-20min intense stretching straight down. I apply a lot of force when I do. Does anyone use this method as a substitue for hanging? Do you guys feel if I put enough pressure down ward it would be equal to a low to mid weight hanging session?

Yes it is done. It is just manual stretching. Be careful of the intense part of your question. Like anything you need to work into it, warm up, and feel what your body is telling you. Stop if there is any pain because that is a sure sign you are over doing it. Be careful.

Definitely. Always careful. I warm up in the shower. Mild stretching then I jelq about 200 reps. Manual stretching every 10 or 20 reps. Then ill stretching with a lot of force and hold for 10-20min at a time

I kept increasing my manual stretching intensity and duration - mostly in the hottub. Along with length I was getting some minor foreskin restoration. Then one day, unknowingly, my tried and true stretch grip was now pinching a bit of the new skin and gave me a world class spot, like a hickey on the underside, just below the glans. :(

So as everyone will say, just be careful and pay attention all the time.
