I’ve heard all along that you don’t put pressure on the head while stretching, grab an inch behind the glans and try to keep the pressure on the side of the shaft. When I stretch the skin slides up and all the pressure is on the head anyways. Am I doing something wrong.

You are going to feel pressure in the head of your penis. There is no way around it. You should be pulling hard enough to get a good stretch, but if/when you feel pain/discomfort, that’s when you are doing something wrong.


Start: 7.2" BPEL, EG = 5"

Goal: 8" NBPEL, EG = 6.5"

to me it feels like I get just as much pressure when I stretch the right way as if I just grab the head itself. I guess that I am doing it right though, thanks for the reply.

Beyond: I’ll chime in and say that I feel the same way… It’s hard to grab an inch behind the head and pull. I have a larger glans too it makes it easy, but throughout my routine I’ve always grabbed the glans and pulled.

Grabbing your penis 1 inch before the glans causes some blood to be collected in it, which I think is good while stretching and it should be ok as long as you don’t put too much pressure. However, if you grab your penis right before the glans and stretch, you don’t have much blood in the glans and some blood might even return to shaft from squeezing the glans which I think is bad and might cause injury. I had a minor injury when I stretched hard by grabbing right before my glans and I had my glans bleed couple of times when I put too much pressure on glans filled with some blood. So stretching has potential possibilities for injuries if done wrong ways and one should listen to his penis response and go easy at it. My two cents and I’m no expert in stretching.

Hi guys.

I just have some questions to add to this post. When I stretch I try to have my hand an inch below the glans but it always slides to just behind the glans. It sort of locks out under the glans basically using the glans as a stopping mechanism. I find I get the best stretch this way. Am I doing it correctly? I watched the tutorials and it looks similar to the way I am doing it. I am cut so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. I also do find the glans to be filled up with blood while stretching almost like the blood is trapped by my gripping behind the glans. Is this a bad thing ? I use a glove to get a better grip but still find my hand slides towards the glans but it does not move onto the glans itself. I find I have to apply a lot of pressure to keep the OK grip in place. Am I completely messing up my stretching ?

You’re fine. I’ve been gripping that way for years without incident. To deal with the too-much-blood-in-the-head issue, grip as you do just below the glans with an overhand OK grip (palm down). As you grip fairly tightly with your thumb and index finger, wrap the rest of your fingers into a fist around the head of your cock and squeeze the blood out. (There will still be enough in there. Don’t worry.) Relax those fingers now while keeping your thumb and index finger in a tight “O.” Now you can go ahead and stretch without your head exploding.

Fallacy, thats always felt just as comfortable for me too as long as I dont pull too hard. I wonder if Im geting a good enough workout like that though. Youve made some decent gains stretching like that it looks like.

Yeah thanks Ike. I’ve been really worried about stretching incorrectly. Once again thanks for the help.

When I stretch I pull the glans. I never had any problem and I feel that is the best way to stretch the inner penis. I also feel it is an advantage of manual stretching over hanging. It is difficult to hang just from the glans, so the skin of the shaft must be used to provide cushioning. This is ok, but some of the hang force gets transferred to the skin rather than the internal penis.

mravg, You dont actualygrab the glans themself, just underneath them right?
