Hey guys, about a week ago I was doing my warm up stretches, I was sitting on the side of my tub, stretching straight down between my legs. I was maybe 10% erect, I heard and felt a “pop” near the base of my penis. It didn’t hurt, It felt like I was cracking my knuckles….I’ve noticed no degradation in the quality of my erections, and have had no complications. It was just a little sore to stretch the next day, but other than that nothing.

Anyone have any clue what could have made that sound? I’m fairly certain that it was not my hip, or any other joint. It was right at the base of my penis.

Don’t know what causes it but if it’s any comfort I have had that happen a couple of times.

You’ve experienced a lig pop. Some get them, some don’t. I don’t think there’s any eveidence of them being bad.

Contrary to r.a.g I’m so afraid to get that again. I’ve once got it and now I’m trying very hard not to have it again. The sound made me loose interest in PE:) . BE CAREFUL GUYS

In my experience, I’ve never felt an uncomfortable pain until after a pop (that is, pop -> continue stretching -> pain), never before. I think the popping are the legs coming out of a “comfortable” or “settled” position, and I think they really contribute to micro-tearing a lot. I think you should pop as much as possible, as long as it is not occompained by pain (or too much pain, remember, we’re freaking ripping our ligaments here!).

Listen to yourself, that’s my rule of thumb, if it hurts, don’t do it. If you’re unsure, back off.

I stretch to a pop every day and night, it’s the only way I can believe that the lig stretching is working. I’ve actually gained about 1/2 cm bone pressed stretched length (BPSL) in only about two maybe three weeks of power stretching, but I won’t believe the gains until I’m a good half inch, even an inch longer BPSL.
