Hi All,

Wondering if I can substitute hanging for stretches ??.

Its incredibly hard can go past 10 stretching (1 each) and since I’m going for length maybe this will help is my answer.

Pros / Cons ??

It’s s trial and error process. I can only hang for about 20 minutes at a time, so I made a phallosan forte so I can wear it around 3-4 hours.

From hanging, I gained a little length and some base girth.

But 20 is more them 10. I’m guessing its more effective than stretching.

It sounds like you’re in the process of conditioning your penis; there’s a limit to how much stress it can tolerate. That’s why we recommend starting with exercises to condition your penis before moving on to things like hanging.

The key is to be patient and stick with it. Do a little more every day, keep a journal of what your routine is, what you did each day, and measure every once in a while to see what is working and what is not.

How much conditioning do you guys think is required before hanging? I’ve been stretching and jelqing for almost a month, it’s my second foray into PE. A few years ago I dipped my toe into PE, now I’m more serious and committed. I would like to hang but don’t want to injure myself.

I would say hanging is better than stretching. You know how much pressure your applying when you hang because of the weight; and you can add slowly to test your tolerance. Also you have the added benefit of time under tension which is going to be an important factor to growth.

A lot of people here say to “condition” your penis first and I’m not going against them, but if you want to try hanging I’d say give it a try.

I spoke with a board certified urologist, along with many other accreditation’s, and well renown phalloplasty surgeon and he suggested I hang for 6months before my surgery because I would gain length from hanging alone and if I was happy with the result I could have done just girth enhancement, but now that I know I can do BOTH naturally I won’t be doing the surgery. But I say that to say; he recommends that for all his clients and they don’t PE or do the newbie routine before they hang and he has many good results to show for in my opinion.
OF COURSE don’t throw a freaking 20lb weight on there your first time! Start with the minimum and find a good comfort level over a week or two. That is what I did with clamping. I started clamping at the beginning of October, my 2nd PE month, but I didn’t jump in clamping 10min 3sets like I do now. I first tried 3min,4min, 5min, 8min, until I was comfortable and had a better idea of the physiological indicators and what to look for.

NOBODY wants to injure their penis; be smart and try it, but don’t push your comfort level on the first day.

I think manual stretching is the way to go until you have completely exhausted you gains from it (which many have proved if done properly wont happen for a very long time). With that said if your trying to maximize length hanging will do that. Get a good quality hanger (bib starter or original) and start light with short sessions to test your tolerance to it and see what the minimum weight and time you have to do to get gains are then just slowly increase from there as gains slow.

I stretched and jelqed for nine months with very little if any increase in length. I then used a sock hanger for three months and gained 1/4 inch but had to quit for privacy reasons. My dick responded well to hanging.
