I don’t know what else to call it besides that. I’ve been doing this about 1 month, and I’ve noticed that my penis has started to become fatter in the middle and not anywhere else. Before I started I had a penis that was even in girth. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve been doing the Newbie Routine, and I’ve watched the videos on jelquing, and have been doing it (at least I thought) the same as the vids. Maybe I’m squeezing too hard? How hard should I be squeezing? I’ve also been doing it with a lower erection (about 40-50%) because I read, on this site, that I will get more length gains if I jelq with a lower level erection.

I hope, since I’ve only been doing it for about 1 month, that it’s not permanent. Is it?

It’s baseball bat shape like and it’s the optimum (my opinion) since the corpus spongiosum is thicker in the base and gradually goes thinner along the shaft.
Having the corpora cavernosa larger in the top than in the bottom compensates.

Anyway you should apply the same grip intensity all among the jelq if you want to avoid this, I guess.

I’ve been having the same problem. When I finish my PE session my penis looks fatter in the middle. I figured it is because it’s easier to put pressure in the middle than in the base while stroking.

Personally, if I got any girth gains I would be happy. I would get as much as possible while I could (within reason) and then focus on the base next.

Dude, don’t complain! Any gain in girth would be cool with me. Do you always have that extra size or only after your routine? I’ve heard that some folks can gain liquid deposits. I definitely have this after an intense sex/masturbation session. Right below my glands on the bottom side of my penis gets like a definite bulge. It goes away after a while and doesn’t hurt. I like it even.

With the Kegels, I’ve found my ejaculations to be very powerful. I also cum less often. When I do, it’s with my girlfriend and I always get a kick out of how far I can shoot it.

From a functionality standpoint, one would think that being girthy at or near the glans would be desirable over being thickest right at the base.

In this instance, a thick glans area(or just below) would be felt from penetration through balls deep, where thickness at the base would only be felt at or near balls deep.

I guess a basketball wasn’t the right description. Maybe more of a football shape. Thin at the base, thick in the middle, thin at the top.

I’ll try not squeezing as hard when I jelq.

Also, to soyconyo, how many kegles do you do, and how often do you do them?

Probably not. You are gaining which is a good thing. All men and dicks are unique which make their penis respond differently to the same exercise.

I think it’s best to start with just enough pressure to get the feeling of a decent workout afterwards, thereby leaving room for increasing the pressure later on which you will need to keep gaining.

One month is not enough to make girth gains permanent. If you would stop now you will lose some of your gains. You probably want your gains to become permanent and focus more on the areas which aren’t gaining as much in girth yet. There are exercises that will target just the base or the glans.
