Steel Cord Strategy
So I learned I have a tough steal cord limiting my length gains. Newbie gains I suspect were just better EQ and getting me to my true size. Gains have come to a halt after 3 months and when stretching Flaccid I can feel the cord along top.
I have started to hang and my logic is to use a lot of heat and attack the cord for the first 10 minutes of a set by using a fulcrum SD; the second half of the set is slightly higher weight hanging SD (no fulcrum). Thought being, if I can loosen the cord first and then hit Ligs I may get a stretch like those without a steal cord.
The fatigue I am getting is insane so far after 20 minutes. 5 lbs during fulcrum and 7.5 lbs SD after for 10 min. I understand what others say about feeling the stretch up into stomach area. I don’t have the time to dedicate this method to more than 1-2 times a week unfortunately as hanging is time consuming, but hopeful.
Start 4/25/16 at 5.75 NBPEL, 7 BPEL, 5.25 MEG - 6/7/16 6.2 NBP, 7.3 BPEL, 5.3 MEG - 1st Goal is 7 NBP and 5.5 MEG by end of 2016
