Starting the Newbie Routine

Hi everyone! I’m new to the forum and PE in general.

I have been doing some “kegels” on and off (for the past 3 months or so) during urination. Stopping 3-4 times during urinating and then resuming my “flow”.

Given that I am a newbie I think it best to go with the newbie routine recommended on this site.

Which consists of -

Warm compress
Stretching
Jelq
Kegels

My questions are -

Is Jelq similar to “milking?” I’ve heard of a similar practice and “they” call it milking. However there is no erection and they advise you do not get aroused during the process. Is this similar? In the video the gentleman either had a very large penis or was somewhat erect.

When I do kegels I find that my anus contracts also. Is this normal? Sometimes I can differentiate the two but sometimes not.

I’m really glad I found this forum. The routines, exercises, and videos are very informative.

They are similar but not the same as you said in you own post. For your routine it is good because its the newbie one so stick with it :) and do kegels.

Here’s tom Hubbard’s page on Milking from 2001. You are right, he describes it as being done without erection. Jelqing but it’s been done erect for a long time. I would expect milking to encourage a baseball bat shape.

It just means that you haven’t quite got the muscles sorted out. More practise and you will get there.

If yo are talking about our videos here in the forums it is a bit of both. He has the recommended amount of slightly engorged and a big dick.

Sometimes (most of the time) when I do kegels my penis and anus contract. But they are times when I can just contract the penis with only a small amount of contraction of the anus. I’m assuming this is what I need to master (only using the penile muscle).

I was wrong. When I do Kegels the muscle beneath the anus also contracts. In order for me to get a complete kegel (contraction) and hold it for 5 seconds the muscle beneath the anus also needs to contract. Is this normal?
