I’ve fiddled with PE off and on for a few years .. Never really got anywhere. I chalk it up to either doing it improperly or not on a proper schedule/rotation. I fault no one else, I have problems with focus, get discouraged easily, tend to give up on myself easily when my depression/neurosis takes hold.

But I don’t want to give up on this. I really don’t. I want to someday move beyond average and become something exceptional.

I may not say much on the forums .. I want to gather info, figure out where I went wrong, and build up routines and schedules that fit my goal. Hopefully I won’t defeat myself this time. Wish me luck .

I know .. I know some things about PE already, some techniques and random bits of info. But I want to get a solid plan in my head that I can make notes on and follow.

Ecchirebirth, I’m like you. I tend to start things and if I don’t see results fairly quickly, I get discouraged and stop. Have been doing PE for almost 3 weeks and plan to continue for years. Have seen some change in my cock already, albeit not any length or girth gains, but a feeling of fullness in my flaccid state.There is lots information on this site and all very encouraging, since it is given by people who have actually done it and had results. Once you get started and really begin to notice the health of your cock, not only the length increasing, its hard to stop. I dabbled in the dark arts of PE years ago as well, and expected too much too soon, and was probably doing it for the wrong reasons then. Now I have a fresh perspective, and am taking it slow and easy. A month later I’m 100% more dedicated than I was the first day. Stick with it my friend! Good luck!

I started about a month ago. I’ve noticed the fuller flaccid state as well.

Maybe this is a good sign that we’ll see gains soon! :D

Yep. Figured it was a good sign. Took the weekend off. Start again tomorrow. It is habit-forming.

Given that you have a history of not sticking with your PE try and be a bit more active in the forums. That has helped a lot of guys stay motivated.

I have the opposite problem, I get quick gains, feel good about myself, sex feels great, orgasm are powerful and I don’t keep going in order to cement gains but hanging around Thunders has helped me stay focused.

Thank you all for the kind words. As of Sunday I’ve decided to do what iamaru recommended, start with the basic routine, 5 days a week, 5 pm sharp (I gave myself a specific time of day, even though I have a rather open schedule, so I could keep that particular time clear and focus). I’m gonna put together a graph type log to keep my progress (I have starting numbers written down and copied the beginner regimen to a document so I don’t need to refer to the site over and over). I also have a nicely fitted stainless steel cockring that I wear after my full exercise session is finished.

I’m reviewing girth exercises but not implementing them yet.

Sunday will be the end of my first new week of PE. I intend to exercise tonight, take Saturday off, and go Sunday through Thursday on the newbie routine from then on.

Is there anything I should be keeping an eye on physically? Any data I should be collecting? Anything at all that I should be doing that I might not be doing?

Anyway, I have taken down some measurements to give myself an idea of where I’m starting at.

Feb. 19 2012 Flaccid Length: 4 in Erect Length: 6.25 in Erect Girth: 5 in
Feb 25 2012 4 in 6.25 in 5.25 in

I realize any changes in one week are likely temporary and not solidified. It’s more of, I wanted to see where I’m at. Moving forward, I would like to focus on girth, but for now, I will focus on the beginner regimen (though I want to note it’s slightly different due to what feels comfortable).

5 minutes hot wrap (I use a standard electric heating pad at a comfortable heat setting. Works wonderfully)
5 minutes manual stretch (It’s basically a continuous stretch, with breaks when I switch hands. I should probably work towards timing these better.) 10 minutes of jelq (I don’t count the individual strokes, but I do make sure each is slow and thorough. I have learned I don’t need to grip too tightly, though I tend to tighten somewhat as I reach the glans)
At this point in the routine, I add a few extra jelqs, done at about 70-80% erection, done very very slowly and carefully. These feel wonderful, but for now, I’m doing them very conservatively without ever shirking them.
I put on a stainless steel cockring at this point, sitting in such a position that my penis basically lays in front of me, as erect as possible with the cockring holding the erection, putting the heating pad over it and kegeling hard for several minutes.

Sorry, I know I ramble.

Actually, after a bit more reading around, I’m switching slightly, to a 2 day on, one day off schedule. I also ordered some new supplements yesterday from Swanson, after hopping around the supplement section for awhile.
