So I just ordered the cable clamp online and I am going to start a routine upon it’s arrival. I have not decided what I am going to use as a liner for the clamp but I have a few ideas. What I am wondering is how often should I clamp, how many reps should I do, and how many seconds should each rep last in the beginning. Also, how fast should I increase frequency and time of reps and when should I stop increasing?

I recommend you get into clamping the same way that it is recommended to get into pumping in this (in my opinion) expert advise post as stated here: Vacuum Pumping 101

The only difference is I would start with 5-7 minute reps and do not go above 10 minutes for at least a few months (many people believe it is uneccesary to ever go above 10 minutes).

Also I would not recommending clamping every day. If you’re starting with a 5m per set routine, then you probably can get away with clamping every day, but starting out I would suggest at least a 2on1off type thing. So in week 2 you’d increase rep time and in week 3 lower rep time and increase number of reps and proceed in that manner.

This is just a suggestive guide, as always listen to your penis, it speaks volumes. That being said, clamping is an extremely powerful exercise and in some cases, depending on how you go about doing yoru clamping, negative PIs that are caused by lots of fatigue on your penis are sometimes a necessary, repetitious, but temporary bain. I started with 3x5 minutes 3 times a week and worked my way up to 3x10 minutes 5 times a week by adding 1 minute to all 3 sets every week (i.e. 3x5 minutes first week, 3x6 minutes second week etc.), it worked great for me.

Also, don’t clamp as much as you can, instead set 1 or 2 clicks less, it will greatly reduce discoloration and burst capillaries.
