Squats hinder gains

And as for the avatar, whats wrong haha. I’m getting a few complaints from my own progress thread, and this one.


Start May-28-09 --- BPEL 5.875/EG 4.75/NBPEL 5.125/FL 3.00/FG 4.00 *Oct 24/09 --- BPEL 6.750/EG 4.875/NBPEL 5.875/FL 4.000/FG 4.250*

Short Term Goal --- BPEL 7.000/EG 5.000

Squats make you grow everywhere. They definitely raise growth hormone levels, which makes everything grow. I’m sure deads probably have some of the same effect, but I can personally attest for the squat. Sure, I’ve spent more time squatting than on the deads. Why? Because I saw the results with squats. It’s a matter of personal choice, not everyone will respond the same to each.

Both are great, but I’ve never heard of “Super Deadlifts”.

Yes, you got me right - it’s about balancing out my muscles. I also know those kids you are talking about who never work anything except upper body - it’s a world-wide organization with members spread in each gym…

Haha I really don’t know, I just saw this avatar online and it made me laugh so I downloaded it. I’m not too tech savvy so I’m not sure how to get rid of that bottom portion where it says “CONVICTED”. I guess I could use MS Paint?
