Sore Ligs

I have been hanging for 8 months and the last month I really have put in alot of hang time into it (2-3hrs daily). Letting my wife in on my PE has made this possible. Anyway I noticed that my ligs are sore at the begining of my first session of the day, I have never had this before. Is this a good or bad thing?

It means your ligs are suffering some trauma. It may or may not mean you are gaining. I experienced the exact same thing each day I hanged and never gained. On the other hand, Mr. Nine has described the same sensation and gained stupendously.

8 months without sore feeling wow. I think you weren’t hanging with enough weight or enough time for 8 months. My ligs are sore all day. READ BIBS POSTS on hanging it is a must. Also read LIL12big progress post.

I have mainly used the OTS position for the past 7 months and gained about 3/4” then I stopped gaining. That is when I started with straight down and BTC positions this past month and gained 3/16”. The sore feeling is new maybe the past week or two. It’s not very bad it’s just slight during the first tug of the ligs.
