Some stretching questions...

Some stretching questions...

1) Why some people stretch left, right, up, down? I stretch, 40x30s 2 on and 1 off. Straight stretch only. Is that good, or is there any better way to stretch? I’ve got some gains with this.
2)Why you need to warm your penis after the routine?
3)Why black spots appear after routine?
4)How stretching grows your penis?( I know it does).

I’m at 16-16,5max. Thanks! Oh and why I get different results when measuring from the top? When measuring from the right side I measure exactly same spot than from the top. All help is much appreciated.

1. It’s best to stretch in all directions so the tissues get a greater work out as the tension is applied to them from multiple sources, rather than from a single direction.

2. You don’t.

3. Black spots? That sounds like bruising. Bruising is an indication that you need to reduce the intensity of your workout in either in duration or force applied. You should not be getting any black spots.

4. No one really knows.

That’s just how it is :)

4. One theory is that when you stress the tissues during a workout, it creates micro-tears or cellular disruption.
It is thought that if you keep your penis in an extended state during the healing process, it allows the tissues to “fill in” the tears and create new tissue.

Think of it as how surgeons extend a patient’s leg that is shorter than the other.
They create a break in the bone and attach braces to extend the gap so that new bone will grow in the space.
Eventually the leg becomes permanently longer.

The penis does not have a solid bone that is permanent, so it is believed that any gains in length can be lost in time if the soft tissues are not coaxed into growing or continually stretched.
That means you have to continue the exercises to maintain your gains.
The body has a memory and some tissues will revert to their genetically programmed state if left alone.
Bodybuilders are a case in point, if they don’t continue exercising they will loose their size and become 98 pound weaklings again, in enough time.

Neither muscle hypertrophy or surgical bone lengthening present a perfect analogue. Generally in PE the argument is between plastic vs elastic deformation of collagenous tissue. I believe it varies for everyone but the truth is probably in between a mix of these two ideas.

"Plastic vs elastic deformation of collagenous tissue” those are pretty high fallut’n words. What do they mean in simple terms?

Deformation is a changing of size. So in length gaining the change is a lengthening and in girth, well I guess you could say an inflation in all directions or girthening :p

Elastic deformation: the deformed structure will eventually return to its original size after the stretching force is removed.

Plastic deformation: the deformed structure will not return to its original size after the stretching force is removed.

Collagenous tissue: tissue mostly containing/consisting of collagen.

Collagen: a common component of connective tissue/fascia found in animals. The tunica, for example, which houses the CC chambers of the penis, is primarily made of collagen.

PE is an on-going physiological self-experiment for each of us. It won’t hurt to learn a bit of the jargon :)

Ive been thinking the influence of using those Colagen pills that seams so help with joints pain maybe they can affect and increase the tissue healing time and if that happens would mean faster gain i belive. Do you know the pills im talking about?

Las Medidas no importan, la quiero mas grande y punto!

You’re defining the terms, but you’re not explaining what they have to do with the process of growth.
The question was, how does stretching grow your penis?
How does plastic/elastic deformation (stretching) produce length gains?

Let me phrase it a different way..
If I ask you “What makes a car move?” , and you say “combustion”, that really doesn’t satisfy the question.
Simply defining combustion does not explain how it makes a car move.

No one knows for sure, TinyTim. Connective tissue can change by different processes. If you are interested on the subject, you can give a read to this thread
Loading, lengthening, healing.

The idea of ‘tears’ and ‘healing in elongated state’ seems to suggest that you have to inflict some serious damage to your penis to force it to grow, as the ‘bone lengthening’ analogy; this isn’t an idea advisable to suggest to newbies and is anyway questionable. Extenders users do get gains just keeping their penis elongated, for example - no need to cause tears and then keeping the penis elongated to stretch the scarring tissue, as it was once believed.

If you asked me how a car worked, I would tell you to look it up yourself. Unlike a combustion engine, as I said in my first post, no one knows exactly how it works. If you are interested, you can research the terms I have defined for yourself. There is a ton of information on Thunder’s and via Google, but its all theoretical.

Who said anything about inflicting “serious damage”?
I would hope to believe that a poster on this site is not responsible for the reader’s lack of common sense.
The bone analogy is simply that. It isn’t intended to be taken literally.
When Einstein attempted to describe special relativity using trains and flashlights, he did not actually think people would take him literally and expect to experience the affects of relativity while riding a train.
It’s just a simple way to illustrate an otherwise obscure concept.

If the bone analogy is inaccurate, so be it.
I assumed that manual stretching, pumping, and jelqing where the means to inflict the “minor” damage required to provoke the healing process and develop new tissue.
I guess I misunderstood. I’ll go back to using crystals and magic incantations.

If you believe no one really knows then how can you dispel one idea, and immediately offer up another with any confidence?
You didn’t actually offer a new idea, just another term for stretching.
I wasn’t actually interested in getting a definition, I just wanted to see if you knew what you where talking about.

There is a belief in academia that the way to tell if someone truly understands a theory or idea is if they can explain it to an average person in simple layman’s terms. Einstein was such a theorist.
I’m not trying to equate myself to Einstein, but I agree with his approach to thinking.
Many celebrated philosophers and theorists spent decades pontificating their ideas into enormous volumes, and nothing really constructive ever came from it all because nobody really understood what they were talking about, so it could be inferred that they did not either.

So you didn’t actually want answers, you just wanted to test me. That’s not what I’m here for.

Whether I understand the idea or not is irreverent. The information exists and has been discussed countless times on this forum by people who definitely know more than me. I simply intended to give a brief summary of the two dominant opposing theories, nothing more. Marinara was kind enough to provide you with a direct link to a rich source of such material, but there are many others.

If you want to test people’s articulation abilities and talk about philosophy and the scientific greats. Do it elsewhere.
