Hey guy’s I’m new to the PE world, my recent thread posting stats and reasoning etc. I have alot to read before I finally get my initial workout plan sorted and dive head first into the world of PE. To be honest with you all, I’m 18, I smoke between 5 and 15 cigarettes a day, Never anything usually over 20 and I occasionally smoke bud recreation-ally. I was wondering does smoking affect gains or PE in any way as I believe this is a full-time commitment and as I said previously, I’m in for the long haul.

So, does smoking affect your unit when attempting to gain?

There are no real studies on this issue, so there’s no exact answer.

I personally doubt that smoking would affect your PE gains, rather than affecting your overall health, which your PE gains are depending on.

If you’re keen on gains or not, either way you should see smoking as equal to injecting some poison into your body. So your body needs to spend some energy to defend against the poisonous substances, which won’t be spent on your development.

It probably makes no real difference at your age. However smoking is bad for you in general so if this might be the final thing to drive you to quit then so be it.

Smoking causes low oxygenation levels of the blood, high glucose, chronic inflammation of the lungs, which although not so much, might slow things down.

At this time it will probably not hamper your efforts, depending on how long you have been smoking.

I don’t fancy to write a boring list of all the (possible) consequences of smoking.

Just want to give you the advise to better stop earlier then later. At your age it should be quite easy to change your habits. Also You have plenty of time to let your body ‘regenerate’ so you could lead an as healthy life as anyone else. Unless of cause you have already decided to smoke for the rest of your life.

(Really meant nicely and I’m ok for anyone to do to themselves as they please.)

Personally, the only effect I have had is that my flaccid hang is much better when not smoking.

If you are fit and healthy, I doubt smoking will make a great deal of difference to your gains, but it certainly is not good for penile health in the long term.

My experience is that smoking defenitely affected erection quality, and flaccid hang. As for it affecting gains is up in the air, I read a thread months ago with someone who was gaining just fine while smoking a pack a day.

Do yourself a favor and try to quit the tobacco now, you are only 18. It took me over 26 years to finally get the nasty things out of my life.

I’ve noticed this too, even though I’m a newbie (I smoke a lot of ciggies during finals week, sue me). A better flaccid hang is definitely (plus a million other reasons) < smoking, any day.

Thanks guys, I think it’s about time they are removed from my life. Going for the gradual cut method as mentioned by another member.

Bigger healthier penis? That was the final nail in the coffin of my smoking. It is better to give up smoking than nearly anything else you will ever do. Good luck with it.

I’m a smoker off and on. I try really hard to quit and always fall back into the lure. I have been smoking for over 15 years now. Smoking does not effect my gains in size with pe, but does effect my erection quality. The times I have quit smoking, my erections would get really hard and I get an inch or so back on my size. Once I start back smoking heavy again erections go back down.

Like everyone else said, quit the smoking right away, at your age you may not see any effects, I sure didn’t. But I am seeing the negative effects now and I regret it big time.

I was a smoker on and off too, but when I was on, i’d be smoking ALL the time. I’d smoke hookah 3-4 times a week, cigarettes, lots of the finest marijuana, and that definitely killed my weenier. For me, it affected my EQ tremendously, I mean like it was terrible. This lowered EQ hindered my gains, so I say stop smoking! And I was working out/playing soccer 1-2 hours, 5 times a week high intensity. So smoking is just terrible…Quit!


I am currently a smoker, and I notice that even at 100% erection it is not nearly as hard as it could be. Believe it or not, I went and bought Chant-ix a prescription medicine that helps you quite smoking. Several of my friends have taken it and have succeeded, so I am optimistic. Hopefully in several weeks I will be able to say I’m smoke free.

Smoking can lower your testosterone level, testosterone being anabolic is what you want for growth so therefore you don’t want to lower it. Smoking bud is even worse for your T levels.

I’m definitely going to take the plunge. But I will be smoking herb here and there, but not very often as I’ve just come out of a large brain-fog of 3 years.
