My penis has been floppier and way more softer. It that a sign that I’m going in the right direction on my way to gains? I have been PEing for about a week now.

After a session if your penis hangs longer for some hours and if it feels a bit spongey, yeah that’s pretty positive. Is that what you mean?

My penis does the opposite after a jelq session. It tightens.

Does that mean my jelq will have adverse affects? Haha.

It’s commonly thought that if the penis turtles after a session rather than hanging longer, that this is a sign of over-training.

Personally I’m not sure about the concept of over-training, it seems to me to have come across from body building and been adopted without much thought (or at least I’ve not seen the thought). I think it’s possible to overdo things and I think it’s better to arc up intensity than go into PE full speed. I also think that tissue is better stressed after heating by edging (not in the masturbatory sense) into as small a strain as possible but one that is large enough to have an effect. With that goes variance in strain though, the body seems very good at adapting to stress so I’m not quite sure I see the point of these stretcher devices (i.e devices designed to put a small strain on the penis for 6 hours or more). I think they might after an initial period of use become progressively more useless as the body adapts. I take the Spanish Inquisition approach to thoughts on PE.

Of course this is all conjecture on my part and it’s probably best to stick with the postulation that it is over-training and to cut back a little until your penis builds up some kind of ability to deal with the strain.

Hmm, over training eh? Ok, I guess I’ll cut back a bit. Though I don’t feel like I’m over training it? (Though I am new, what would I know I suppose)

I’ve had 3 jelqing sessions so far. They lasted lasted about 10 or 15 minutes, they were steady strokes (3 - 5 secs), but maybe my grip was too tight?

That doesn’t sound like too much. Keep going for a short time and then decide whether you are overdoing it.

The grip needs to match the erection strength. You need to be gripping a little under the level that would prevent you from moving your grip up the shaft .

Nick I was over training badly and had the same problem. I’ve been told if you over train too much you could toughen up the ligs and make it harder to grow.

I’ve noticed by being more gentle and careful with my training, I get the longer softer feeling after training now and actually feels like I’m training correctly.

Are you getting results? I wasn’t really, and yes I used to turtle alot, and be stiffer. At first it feels as though you are gaining, but id say try being more delicate and slightly pull and slightly jelq. Defo working for me after a few days even.

I’m a complete newbie so I’m just sharing my experience and thoughts though but I found now I just pull until I feel the first signs of slight resistence and then slowly slowly pull more, I never put strain on now and I can honestly see better results even after a few days. You probably find your erection aren’t as hard either, again this is over training - fatter spongier erections that don’t stay hard were my symptons along with no length gains.
