I plan on starting the newbie routine within the next few days. I want to read as much as possible so I feel mentally prepared since this is a big decision. I think it’s great that there is a network like this available.

I’ve been reading that shrinkage can happen the first little while during PE, is this true and is there any way to avoid it?

Welcome to the forums mate. Shrinkage might occur if you train too hard at first. Don’t jump into heavy exercising, start with the newbie routine here and you should be fine.

You seem to have made great gains since you started. More on the girth side. Are you only following the newbie routine?

Welcome to the forum! I’ve heard a few stories of shrinkage but not many. I will agree with juiice best way to avoid it is to not over train. Good luck starting your PE platinumplaya

Start 10/17/12: BPEL: 5.9 NBPEL: 5.125 EG: 4.875

Current 12/17/12: BPEL: 7 NBPEL: 6.1 EG: 5

Goal: 8.5x6

I’ve actually done a newbie routine called JP90. Google it, it’s on pegym. Though some say it’s too intense for newbies, but it seemed to work fine for me.
