Well There’s a fair number of members who have openly admitted that they parade around the locker room ‘starkers’ to show off their wares.

They and others talk about helping the bulge and the looks they get. I guess we all want to know how we compare with others - if for no other reason than encouragement to go for better. It must be part of the culture of PE’ing.

If someone takes a peek then it is a compliment in a way. If everyone was completely uninterested in you. Wouldn’t you just have a passing thought they you were just a little under par?

They are there in some avatars, and maybe temporarily, who knows? just to show gay Thunders members that this place is not totally straight-biased (to read it most days, you would think it was); that there are gay moderators - about in the same percentage as there are gays in the outside world; that gays and bi s and straights are all welcomed to talk about what PE, and other things, mean to them in open and civil conversation.

I see this small gesture only as an indication of another voice, another point of view, not much as a political statement. The advice you get from a gay or bi member is as valid as you will get from a straight member. This place is primarily about growing a bigger cock than one has. What anybody does with theirs is their business.

So. How do people behave at the gym you might go to?

Largely disinterested, (Not uninterested). Some wear their towels to the point of never letting themselves be seen at all, doing all sorts of acrobatics to get their shorts on while holding the towel around them to those who just towel themselves dry, and then put on their jocks, shorts etc. usually while facing their locker (me)

If someone wants to peek, so, it’s no big deal, and yes I have a quick look to see how others are to satisfy my curiosity as to where I occur (had to be careful with that word) in the pecking order. Also I have a reasonably good bod so I get a fair number of appreciative looks for that.

I’m on friendly, nodding terms with most of the members so when talking to them one can’t stare into their eyes without blinking and shifting gaze. Particularly as I am as deaf as a post. But only rarely, overtly staring looks.

But I wouldn’t do what InsaneMan did. That action could possibly be misunderstood, particularly if the guy was just in no hurry to get home to an empty house or whatever and in fact was straight, and just admiring my body.

Oh, okay. I just noticed two avatars appear with it recently and felt myself starting to back pedal outta here. Not for what the badge represents, but the fact that it is a badge. I’m a little bit Groucho Marx in that respect.

Wrt my gym, I don’t have one at the minute, but from what I remember it was pretty much a snapshot glance, acknowledge them via eye contact or a nod, then keep your focus striclty in some free space, much like when on the tube train.

Me and my friend used to work out together at a gym and we used to laugh about this little fella (looked almost like an Elf, waxed eyebrows etc…really striking) only go to the gym just to hang out in the locker room, he did nothing else, I remember getting dressed and seeing him always stripping down to nothing but a small towel (almost like a mini skirt, just enough so his junk isn’t blatantly hanging out) and he would sit there and like clean the sinks while his head was down, he was checking out other peoples packages in the mirror with the corners of his eyes, a few times I heard him ask some (like 3 guys) in the shower if they were ok on shampoo etc… I personally never saw anyone hang out in a locker room like this guy. Anytime I was changing to leave or just getting there, he was busy doing something with lockers, mirrors or the shower, (and no, he wasnt an employee) with his shifty eyes.
