I have just started and been on about week,I still hurt the next day from PE and then have to do PE again.

Because feels like 24 hours isnt enough time to fully heal.

Welcome to the forum.

Firstly, pain is bad. If you are getting pain during PE, you’re pushing too hard. Very mild shooting pain is OK but if you have constant pain you’re doing something wrong.

If this isn’t pain as such but rather that you can still feel the effect of PE from the previous day, that’s fine. You might find that you feel the effect more and more as you go through your on days until you really need a break on your rest days.

I totally agree with Memento. Whenever I get a good stretch I can still feel the effects the next day. If you’re feeling the effects then it’s likely that you’re going to make some gains, so rest might be a good idea. What you don’t want to do is to over-strain the ligs and cause an injury.

I also find massaging the damaged region with nutrient rich lotion like a cocoa body moisturizer helps make recovery just that bit quicker.
