Should Jelging Hurt?

Should Jelging Hurt?

So I have been dry Jelging a bit with the OK grip and have some more questions:

1. It doesn’t feel like I’m doing much unless I have a pretty strong erection, so I have been doing the Jelgs at pretty much full erection, is that OK?

2. When I get a good tight grip at the base and squeeze up the shaft I can feel a bit of pressure on the head and it’s slightly painful (I’d say a 1 on a pain scale of 1-10, so not unpleasant really but does feel like pain, if that makes any sense); it’s not the whole head but a little part of the head that feels this slight bit of pain. Is that OK? If I don’t do it hard enough to feel the pain sensation then it doesn’t feel like I’m doing anything pressure wise.

Thanks!

Beginners do not jelq with a full erection. That will cause injuries.

If you’re doing something that hurts than you are using way too much force.

Jelqing doesn’t really work with a full erection. When you are fully erect, the tunica is too stiff to stretch and grow. You want to be around 90% erect so your tunica is still flexible enough to expand from the internal pressure created by each jelq stroke. Also for this to work best, I think it is best to jelq with a lube.

Jelqing should definitely not hurt and in fact it should feel more on the good side of the equation.

Stop trying so hard. PE is a game of finesse not force.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

90% erection is too much for beginner as well. Recommended 60%.

And no, pain is not good. You should feel mild pressure, but no pain.

Problem solving with fire.

Jelq with an erection level between 40 and 70%. Do not grip too tight, just enough to feel blood moving up the shaft

Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"

Your erection level while you jelq really depends on what your goals are. For length, you want to jelq in the 50 to 70% erect range and for girth you want to jelq in the 80 to 90% erect range.

Thanks for your replies. It doesn’t feel like much is happening when I am not fully erect, I don’t feel any pressure, it just feels like I’m stretching, is that how it should feel?

Yes. Do not jelq erect.

Nothing in PE should hurt. If its hurting you doing it wrong and you are begging to get injured. Beginners, or newbies as they are called, should not be jelqing at anything above 70% erection. This is very important because you dick is not conditioned yet to take the beating. It might feel like you can take just to end up with an injury, long lay-off and resultant shrinkage from the healing. In the beginning it is a bit frustrating. It feels like nothing is happening and you want to up the effort. PE has two types of people. People that work hard for very long and see the results, or people who try to force gains, get injured and give up. Don’t force it. The results will come with time. If you dick is engorged after you jelqing routine, then you did fine.
