Should I Warmupwarmdown on the newbie routine

I know that it is very much recommended to warm up and the then warm down after a workout but I can’t remember what thread it was

But it said that apparently if you do warmup it stiffens up your ligs or can do so and people on that same thread said they have gained without actually doing

Any sort of warmup just straight into the stretching and jelqiing

Love to know what you gluys think about this and if it could work

I think it’s a must do.

I utilize a Bath-mate for my warmup. I fill it with water as hot as I can stand and give it a pump or 2. I keep it on under the hot shower stream while performing kegels the entire time. I do the same for warm down. I’m not sure about the Bath-mate being good for gains but it is an excellent tool for warming up.

I have always warmed up by easing into the workout. Do you light stretches for a little and you’ll notice your dick starts to loosen up a bit. Same goes for jelqing. At least that’s how I do it.

I’m not sure where you got the information that warming up will “stiffen up your cock”, but my opinion, as with a lot of the other veterans, is that warming up will yield better, easier gains, and will decrease the likelihood of injury. Yes some guys have claimed great gains without warming up, but why risk it?

If you’re not going to warm up with hot water, or heat pad etc., doing what AndyB123 suggests and very gently easing into it is probably your next best bet.

And doing just manuals, (no devices) is a very good idea. Warm up, do the newbie routine and be careful.

Start out with the lightest posssible. I recommend using constant heat.

When I first started PE, I didn’t warm up, and later on I started warming up.

Big difference!

Warming up reduces chance of injuries, increases expansion when doing girth work, and increases “stretchiness” when doing length work.

I always recommend using heat throughout. I do my PE in the shower so that there is constantly warm water heating things up.


STARTING: BPEL: 5.9in EG: 5.0in

Good point. Better to stick to manuals being new and the Bath-mate is kinda pricey but if you find that you are going to stick with the PE lifestyle, then as a warmup device it’s worth the investment IMHO. When I use it to warmup I go for just enough vacuum to keep it in place so as to keep my unit immersed in heat, and less so for expansion due to vacuum. So after warmup my unit is usually very ready to be worked on. But that’s more due to the immersion in hot water than it is the vacuum.
