Should I Masturbate?

I find masturbating during my ‘on’ days ruins my workout so to speak. This mainly applies before workouts, but afterwards too, I suppose.

If I masturbate before workouts I find that I am unable to reach maximum intensity, well I am able to reach it but it just doesn’t seem as effective due to the fact that my penis has already been ‘broken’ down, so to speak. Masturbating after workouts I don’t find as bad, but I avoid masturbating before and after workouts at all costs.

From my personal experience and from my point of view, masturbation does affect my gains. So now, I try to keep masturbation down to a very minimum while I’m PE’ing. Once a week, twice at the most or as long as possible.
Not only does it feel great to ejaculate after 7+ days of no masturbation.

Whether this will apply to you, that’s for you to find out. I know many people who masturbate before/after workouts and have said they find it more beneficial or they gained more while doing this. I know many who follow the ‘5 hour rule’ and gain. So there are very varied views on this subject and I believe it will be a very long time before someone comes up with some solid evidence on whether masturbation does actually effect gains or not….

guys, unless some doc knows better, I am at a loss to imagine how masturbating after PE can possibly have any effect… All you are doing is further massaging the jelked or hung unit, which at worst can have no impact and at best would be soothing and relaxing after its workout.

I can see why masturbating before might make it hard to get the right degree of semi erection or make it too sensitive to jelk … but after?

I’m only a newbie but after seems fun and rewarding.

also no one asked or commented on intercourse before or after … I presume same applies as to masturbating?

Shinobi I like your idea of just doing it once a week or so. It definately feels better and is more intense that way. I think I will give that a shot, or at least only cum on ‘off’ days and see how that works as far as gains.

I am pretty sure that not masturbating is affecting my gains, for the better! We shall soon see at the end of this month when it’s time to measure.

I prefer cutting down masturbation when I am PE’ing, I have always felt this way and probably always will. I cut it down to around once per week, twice at the most.

But now, I will only masturbate around once per month. Call me insane, but I like it this way! Not only do I feel better within myself, but my routines seem to have a more positive effect on my penis too.
Plus, if it does have a positive effect on my gains/routines, they’re not the only benefits. Your orgasms are much stronger when you go for pro longed periods of time without masturbation and you will shoot bigger loads than if you were to say, masturbate frequently (2+ times per week).

But hey, don’t let me stop you from masturbating, if you like doing it then go ahead! What might work for one might not work for all.
