Just a little background first. I’ve read up on PE since my good friend introduced me about 9 years ago when I was first in college. I was the best athlete in my high school, I turned down full ride scholarships in baseball and football. As ridiculous as this sounds I think it may have been related to my insecurity with my penis size. I turned down many girls in HS and just had sex with my good friends who I knew wouldn’t put me on blast (or I hoped). I had the looks, the brains, the talent, good parents and upbringing but I just focused on this one “negative” thing in my life. Let it ruin my potential. Anyway, I missed ball so much I played a year after being out school. I was pretty good and the groupies came around.. That was it. I shut down.

Strange looking back. Over these 8 years I’ve matured and been much more appreciative of what I DO have in life. I used to want a bigger dick because I needed it. I wanted a more muscular body/less body fat because I needed it. Now I just want it because I know I can have it with some hard work. I started training again like I used to in HS and a few years in college but without the stress. I’m almost 27 now and my body has responded so good that I gained almost 15 pounds of muscle in a month and a half and lost body fat. I attribute this solely to my attitude. So long story short, I realized when sore in the morning that every muscle and part of my body is growing, getting harder, and sore.. Except my dick. Why not work it out too? I don’t have a desperate attitude anymore just determination to maximize my potential and live for the NOW.

Sorry folks if my story bored you, I have a tendency to vent when typing. Now my question/theory as a newbie. After all my reading I had a good idea of what a starting routine should be and I noticed some solid growth. I started around 5.5-5.75 BPEL and got it over 6 in a month of pretty regular stretching/jelqing workouts. Now I read something in Aaron kemmers book years before that jolted my brain and led me on this site to ask this question. In the starter routine on this site it recommends heat in warm up and warm down. Kemmer suggests “cooling” down. After a jelq workout where I got into a few squeezes and Ulis (maybe ahead of my conditioning) I had a serious pump on. I put the shower on as cold as possible and pointed the shower head downstairs. With my dick cooling off rapidly I kept moving it/jelqing/kegeling, anything to keep it inflated. I noticed that I retained the size much longer than after my usual workouts.

When searching around for a possible pump I noticed the “bathmate” this water pump device. I didn’t think anything of it until a crazy idea popped in my head that I wanted to ask the experienced users of this site. WHAT IF:

Warm up in the water pump, get a good expansion going on but keep the mind calm. Exit pump, let any erection subside, stretch, and jelq as normal. Really do whatever your workout consists of. Then: instead of warming down, go back in the water pump but instead of water as hot as you can handle, go with water as cold as you can handle. If heat loosens tissue to expand, cold should lock it in. The pump will give pressure to resist any shrinkage of your maxed out penis. Now I’m no science/kinesiology major, but I also know that athletes take ice baths after intense activity to prevent soreness, injury, swelling etc. Well the pump ensures we keep the only one of those things we want, the swelling. While its not the nasty shit our blood transports to an injury site, we all know the cold does prevent blood-flow to our penis.

As this was my first post I kind of introduced myself but really just looking for feedback on my idea. Pump “Ice” down have any possibility? Or should I get that bathmate and try it? I searched as much as I could and didn’t see anything about this. Has anyone tried it? Do you think the perceived stasis in size is superficial? Lemme know what you all think.

Some veterans suggest to cool down mainly to contrast the shrinking of the penis after the workout.

Basically the cells are in an elongated state and you force them to stay that way by “freezing” them.

As always everybody is different so you have to try and see as your body reacts.

I did a lengthy study on this for my own research, and it’s much simpler than that. Cold therapy suppresses PDE2 a hormone responsible for inflammation that suppresses blood vessels ability to relax, think migraine headache (NSAIDs are specifically designed for this). When inflammation rises histamines flow into the region to relax capillaries and increase blood flow in an attempt to repair damage. Unfortunately, this process doesn’t always end quick enough and causes more damage with no attempt to begin the healing process. So irritation and redness get locked in and do more harm. Cold therapy shrinks blood vessels and capillaries and slows down blood flow to a stand still. When heat is reapplied blood flow shoots through and the proteins and amino acids needed to repair go to work. Ice and heat decrease the break down and start healing sooner. So you see, some shrinking in the cold does happen but it expands again.

Everybody is different and its as you say best to see how the body reacts, but we are all human beings and have the same build in our bodies. What I mean is facts on growth is almost same for everybody. The best thing to do is go with the flow of people who have made good gains, start standard and then experiment.
