I’ve been on the newbie routine for about 4 weeks now and am starting to see some gains. As part of the routine I have been performing about 500 short (1 second) kegals and I am able to hold back much longer. I’ve been trying ‘edging’ for about 3 weeks now- separately from the routine, and have trained myself to stop just before I ejaculate by squeezing the PC.

My problem is that, because I am so used to stopping myself from ejaculating, when I do want to I can no longer shoot the distance I could before. This even happens when I am trying to ‘squeeze’ on time to push the semen out to correct it. I am ejaculating just as often (about once every 3 days) and the volume seems the same. However, when I used to ‘shoot’ I could get about a foot of distance, now it’s about 6 inches.

I think I have interupted the natural timing of the contractions, if that makes sense. Any tips as to how I can shoot further? Should I squeeze the PC at a certain time? I know this is probably a common question but after several searches I couldn’t find a post which answered my question.


You may be exhausting the BC muscle so much that when you ejaculate the force isn’t what it used to be. I don’t ejaculate normally, but when I have an “accident” I notice the same. I have drawn the conclusion that since I work the BC muscle to exhaustion, that must be the reason. The BC muscle plays a large role in shooting, because it goes into “convulsions”. If it is bothersome, stop the kegels for a few days and see if that helps.

Someone smarter that me will come along and probably clear us both up. :)

Just when you are about to come , try to hold back , then kegel and “force” your come out . I do that and can usually shoot right over my Wife’s head . There is a thread around about it somewhere .

I also have the same problem. Ever since I started edging/ballooning, I’ve noticed that I can shoot as far.

Some people have suggested that the reason is because we have exhausted our BC/PC muscle.

Here’s my theory:

I’ve done a lot of reading on “eastern” views toward sex, specifically, Taoism (inventors of Tantric sex). Anyway, Taoist males make distinctions between an orgasm and ejaculation. A man can thus have many orgasms, but never ejaculate. If you keep training yourself to have small orgasms and hold in your ejaculate, then maybe it’s just a mental thing. You have to train your body so that when it is time for orgasm to shoot big and hard.

I dunno, I’m just talking outloud. Hope I made some sense.

When I edge to the point where Ihave to let it go, I usually drip, then shoot.

Did some more thinking on this.

Try reducing the number of times you edge/balloon per week and only work your BC/PC muscle once or twice a week at most.

I’ve read on this forum different views on training the BC/PC muslce. Some say we should train it everyday, some say twice a week. I’m a firm believer in twice a week. You have to treat it just like an ordinary muscle and be careful not to overtrain.

Your muscle could be fatigued by the time you ejaculate from all the edging sessions and kegel exercises during the week.

I think less is more would work for your situation. Give it a try.

Thanks for all the replies, I’m glad I am not the only one. I will try some of your methods out and let you know.

Yes, but I was masturbating a lot more back then, not always limited to once every three days. To be totally honest it was more like every day :)
