Is it normal for newbies to have a difficult time keeping a sufficient erection while Jelquing? I’m trying to Jelq at a higher % of erection since I am focusing mainly on girth, but I always seem to lose my erection. Does anyone watch porn to help?

I’ve noticed my EQ has gone down lately, being in college, it’s unbelievably disappointing. Finding it tougher get an erection let alone keep one, including with a sexual partner. Found on two occasions now with one very attractive girl and one mild girl my member hasn’t been able to stand to attention (alcohol may have been the factor in one of those situations). I’ve been trying to detox off masturbating as I have read that masturbating can have a negative effect on PE gains, so hopefully that will help my EQ as well, I may have just been putting too much stress on my pecker. I feel like I may have trouble getting it up with the attractive girl because she’s 2 years older than I am, potentially more sexual experienced, and unbelievably good looking which makes me feel pressured and lack self confidence that I normally have with younger girls, especially since I can’t really find what this girl see’s in me. I find when I’m lacking confidence and self-assurance that I can get the job done, my best friend likes to play dead.

Sorry for rambling off topic a bit.. I just put 6 hours into a research essay for school and my brain is a little fried. But back to the important question, do people suggest using porn while Jelquing to keep your desired erection? Or do you think my technique may be at fault (only been doing this for a few days.. My technique could use improvement)

Edit: Also, how should my pecker feel? I’m on my first day off and it basically feels like the rest of my body does after hitting the gym, slightly achey, but not a sharp pain, it feels like I’ve just been doing work. I especially feel the after-effects of stretching, but not so much of jelquing. (I’m doing the newbie routine)

Plenty of guys use porn to help maintain the proper level of wood for jelqing. It is very common for new guys to have difficulties keeping that in between state of neither hard nor soft. Don’t alter the newbie routine until you have enough time in to know how your penis responds. Slightly achy but no pain is exactly how you should feel starting out.

As far as the hot girl that likes you goes? Perhaps she actually, you know, likes you. :rolleyes:

Up your foreplay and oral sex (her receiving) by a factor of “a shit load!” Also think back over what, out side of sex, has gotten a reaction as well. Perhaps (horror of horrors) she actually likes your personality or brains. Spend a bit more time playing and engaging in verbal banter is that is the case. Not only will this make her like you even more, it will go a long way to making you feel more confident and comfortable with her.

No. That’s a discussion as controversial as the “warm wrap vs. hot wrap vs. no wrap” one and yet, there’s no scientifically or empirically proven correct answer. I would say, however, that I think that it is not quite true. It might be true in the sense that you’re not giving your dick enough time to recover, but that’s an issue if you masturbate, for example, 2 times a day, every day. Anyway, a big part of PE is highly subjective to your own dick, so what works for some people might not work for you.

Anyway, I too think you should cut down on masturbation, but not because of PE. I’d advise you to do so in order to increase your sex drive. Also, stop watching porn, after all, you have a great looking girl wanting to have sex with you.

Also, what iamaru said. I also think you have no reason to lack self-confidence, just let it go man. Do some foreplay and just release the beast. Be primal, kiss her, touch her and, later on, fuck her with passion and you’ll have no trouble with getting or keeping it up.

On average what percentage of people would you say make gains of an Inch or more doing PE? Just for curiosity’s sake, I’ve tried searching but haven’t really found a specific answer.

I’d say 25 to 35 percent. But that’s a wild guess, based solely on the data from Thunder’s PE Data Site.

I’ve calculated the average gain to be around 0.68” when taking people with no gain into account and 0.77” when taking only people that have actually gained into account. Again, that’s based solely on the data from Thunder’s PE Data Site. But it’s something (2200+ members with valid entries are bound to average something close to the actual average). :)

Probably most guys can make gains, however modest. I made a solid .5 inch length gain over six months of PE work (jelqing + manual stretches). Not much in absolute terms, but it’s half an inch I did not have before PE. Another valuable benefit of PE done right is improved EQ, something fairly high on the list of priorities of those of us who are middle-aged.

It is known that the tunica albuginea varies in ‘construction’ among the population. The norm is a bi-layer (think plywood), with the elastic fibers in the inner layer running circumferentially , the outer layer longitudinally. A fraction of the population have only one layer, and another three layers. It’s speculated that those with a single layer are more likely to be easy gainers, those with an extra layer the hardest gainers. Just speculation, but sounds very plausible.

Yeah, that’s been my point of view on the subject, even thought I feel like the added confidence of having a big dick would help my life out, especially with picking up girls, if I made even .35 inch gain, that’d be more than before. I really hope to gain more length but especially focused on girth

Some guys do everything right and gain nothing to little. Some guys gain +2”. Both of those extremes are very much in the minority. The amount that can be gained is not open ended. These are observations, not opinions.

The following is an opinion, although based on many years of observations around these forums. 90% of guys can gain an inch in length if they PE smart, safe, and invest however much time it may take.

Well that is reassuring to hear. Hopefully I am one of the ones to make gains relatively quickly with the manual PE techniques, but I mean a healthier dick is a good dick so I’ll be doing PE regardless.

Hi, I get gains only once in few moths and then it is by 0,2 inch, I gained 0,4 inch in 6 months, but I made breaks cause my EQ is getting low, so I do PE once or twice a week.. I don’t know why is this? Do you have any explanation? Also I read about less is more type of gainers.I believe I am that type.cause I’m having problems with EQ all the time.Any opinions? And do you wank after jelq? Cause I do it every time and then I do kegels after wanking.. Is this wrong? Thank you!

And one more question. Can I do warm up and warming after PE with heat fan? :)
