This is some funny stuff. I don’t say this about you Aim-High Willis, but people in general are afraid of the wrong things:
Lifting weights leads to a stronger and better-looking body. But the women don’t want to lift weights. Why? Because they are afraid of becoming walking beefs. Men that’s lifting weights seldom increase their body mass to the extreme, and women are afraid to work out because they don’t want to get big. Oh, I forgot to mention: women have six times less testosterone and other hormones that leads to muscle growth. Add to this, how often do you see a man with extreme muscles (without steroids)?
People are afraid to fly. Why, you ask. Well, because they might crash. Statistically, it’s much, MUCH more risky to drive to work than to fly over the pacific sea.
And about PE. It’s quite similar to women-lifting-weights: Some PEers are afraid that they’re going to wake up and realize that they have a monster living in their pants. This is not going to happen if you keep your goal a bit under monster size, I can assure you people (that are afraid of this). Be afraid that you’re not going to gain, because this is a much bigger problem and chance than that you’re going to wake up monster size.
