Reverse Jelqs

Reverse Jelqs

Does anyone know if there is a benefit to reverse jelqs? For example starting the grip closer to the head (not dangerously close) and squeezing downwards? Maybe a kegel when getting close to the base.

So you are squeezing all of the blood out of your penis in an attempt to make your body bigger?

Yes, reverse jelqs are amazing for base girth, and erection stability. Remember that your cock goes past where you can see, and doesn’t stop until well behind your sac. I used to only do regular jelqs and over time the place where I was gripping at the base began to seem skinnier than the rest of my cock, inside and out. Reverse jelqing has helped me to make my cock one long thick rod all the way from my glans almost to my ass.

Just one warning, You don’t have to start anywhere near your head, and I’ve noticed that if I reverse jelq from the head, the skin around the glans gets sore and I lose sensitivity. To counter this start below the area where your skin is extremely sensitive, about halfway down the shaft. This is when it helps to start with more, as the larger the cock the more area you have to start the reverse jelq from. I also like to kegel at the same time as you indicated, and will occasionally jelq the base of my cock (near my ass) with two fingers toward the glans while performing the reverse jelq with my other hand.

So you’re saying that reverse jelqs help to reverse the baseball bat effect? :)

Oh by the way Curt, it takes up less bandwidth if you keep it in the one thread :) At least give the other one time to get some replies before starting a new thread on the same topic. Just a warning before a mod gets onto ya ;)

In my experience they have. Again though, be careful. Maybe my skin is ultra-sensitive, but if I start at the head my dick gets very raw.

By the way, contrary to what you might expect, my EQ has IMPROVED since I started jelqing in reverse along with regular jelqs. Initially I was worried that the veins moving blood out would dilate and become more effective, making it more difficult to maintain an erection, but this hasn’t been the case at all.

That’s what I figured - that it would help base girth. Like patchukwurah said, the blood doesn’t just disappear, especially if you kegel as you’re getting near the base. Lately I’ve been doing 50/50 reverse and normal jelqs/squeezes and it’s been working pretty good so far (although I still find that regular squeezes are more effective overall).

Once again, reverse jelqs put pressure on valves that prevent the blood from escaping the penis. Those valves are not made to withstand that kind of pressure and thus might get damaged. You don’t want that.

Thanks for the advice Up to 7. An alternative to preventing baseball bat effect is to do low jelqs (behind the nuts) and also doing a low ok grip, holding it, and kegeling. You can also try easing the pressure on the ok grip as you get towards the head.

You guys need to brush up on some anatomy.

First of all, the valves in veins draining the penis, and all other body parts, are oriented such that they allow blood to flow from the periphery of the body back to the heart, and prevent flow reversal to the periphery. There are no vein “valves” that trap blood in the penis. The valves in the veins of the penis and pelvis are oriented in the opposite direction to trap blood in the penis.

Secondly, there is a “veno-occlusive mechanism” in the corpora of the penis that is critical in maintaining erection, but it has nothing to do with the valves that are found in veins. It is not very well understood. The blood that is trapped in the corpora of the penis is not in veins but in sinusoids. These sinusoids do drain into small veins that penetrate the tunica and join the deep dorsal vein of the penis. During erection, the expansion of the sinusoids of the corpora has the effect of closing off these venous channels through the tunica. These channels are found throughout the length of the corpora, not just at the base of the penis.

It is possible that clamping and jelqing can have an adverse effect on the veno-occlusive mechanism, but reverse jelqing would be no more likely to do it than normal jelqing.

Finally, the corpora cavernosa are not open-ended at the base of the penis. The inner portions of the corpora are closed off by connective tissue like the external portions, so it is not like reverse jelqing causes all the blood to flow out of the penis into your body.
