Rest day shrinkage

I do 5-10 minutes of jelqing/stretches every morning and only rest on sundays. My limp size on thoughs 6 days is huge compared to normal. On the rest day, my flaccid size seems actually smaller then it used to be.

Anyone have this issue on rest days?

Are you making gains? Because if you are then who cares right?

True. How long have you noticed this? It might be a sign of overstressing. Give yourself some more rest days.

On today’s sign-in page there is an article about Physiological Iindicators (PI) to help growth, by sparkyx. I have found it to be a real good read.
It might be helpful and answer some of your questons.

Only had about 3 rest days (three weeks of PE so far) Have gone from 7x5.75 to 7.25x6.

This is one reason why I don’t believe in “rest days”.

It means you are working it to it’s limit. It’s not bad you just need to rest until it goes back to normal then start up again. That’s what I do, I’ll PE until it gets tired or tense or it shrinks a bit then rest until it returns to normal. Then when I go back to PEing after the break it’s usually bigger then ever!

If your still gaining then stick with what your doing. The shrinkage on the rest days might be a positive PI to you as it may not be for others. Has the shrinkage always happened on every rest day you have had up to press. Because if so it can’t be a bad sign because your getting some good gains.

If you go to the home page like Panos said there is an article about Physiological Indicators (PI). Scroll down and read the third scenario about Mr B. Dog. Obviously yours is not as drastic as that but your scenario is that you have a positive PI after your workouts because you said your limp size is huge compared to normal, and then you have a neutral PI on your rest days because of the temporary shrinkage. But because you have been gaining you know that the shrinkage is a positive PI for you.

Hope you get what I mean, I am not too good at explaining things. Just read the thread I’m sure you’ll get the point.

You should read up on Big Girtha’s never let it turtle theory. I completely agree with him on this subject.
