Regular and inverted V-stretch

I’d like to know what’s the best time to start doing regular and inverted V-stretches for someone who’s still following newbie routine?

Also, would someone mind telling me how good V-stretches actually are? Maybe compared to manual stretches?

Start • 5.94''x4.92''

Now • 6.50''x4.96''

Goal • 7.00''x5.75''

Still no replies? I have another question… When is the good time to increase workouts from “2 on 1 off” to “3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off” or even “3 on 1 off”?

Errrr when you stop getting gains through jelqing and normal stretches after around 3 months if you get nothing happening then start with the others. I still do normal stretching and the V’s after like 7 months. I’ve switched to 5on2 off after like 4 months because people said on the second day of rest they got alot of healing done. If your unit gets fatigued alot then have more rest days. It’s really just discovering what works best for you, through trial and error, obviously don’t do dangerous things to often.

Obviously if you hang a 100pound weight from your dick for 12 hours straight and you break your dick then that’s natural selection at it’s best.

Anyone else? :)

I would wait 3 months before doing more advanced exercises. As a newbie just stick to lig stretches and jelqing.

Alright then, that’s what I planned. :) They’re working pretty good so far.

I have another question concerning V-stretches… When I start doing them, should I keep doing regular manual stretches or should I kick the out of my routine? Are regular manual stretches better before or after V-stretches? Also, what’s a good amount of V-stretches to do when doing them for the first time? I was thinking of 6 x 10 seconds per set (regular and inverted in the middle, near the glans and near the base), but how many sets?

Help appreciated. :)

Are V-stretches really that unpopular around here?

Depends on how you feel the fulcrum stretches are working out. I think keeping both in the routine as a “safe bet” is a wise choice.

Doesn’t matter since they target slightly different things. Just make sure you warm up properly. I’ve also found that using heat when stretching is more effective for tunica stretches than for ligament stretches. (For instance, I use a jar filled with hot water when doing Memento’s Inverted V-stretch.)

Personally I think the longer you can hold a stretch the better and 10s stretches won’t be much when you’re intermediate. I’d aim for longer tension times but lower force until you get the basic feel down and can feel the stretch working (which isn’t as straight-forward as with regular ligament stretches, at least not to me).

I just started to do these- I’m not doing normal stretches anymore. Normal stretches seemed only to stretch my skin, making my pubes creep up my shaft.

About how long you should do these- I find that it takes about 10 seconds for me to fully relax into the stretch, and actually get any benefit from it, but obviously you should see what works for you.

About how many you should do, I started with 4x20 seconds, but I think if you can keep a good grip, it’s probably a good idea to hold the stretch for a bit longer. I could be wrong, this is just what appears to be working for me.

Experiment!
Good luck.

ebon00: I always warm up throughly. I think my V-stretches are going to be 90 seconds (6 x 15 seconds, 3 areas from above and 3 areas from below). I’ll do only 1 set in the first week and add 1 set every week until I get to 5 sets. I will then keep doing that (10 minutes of manual stretching and 7.5 minutes of V-stretching) until the gains stop. I might even ease in with 6 x 10 instead of 6 x 15 seconds per set.

someotherguy: 4 x 20 seconds per set or total?

I meant total- 1 set of four 20 second stretches.

Stretching is always a pain in the ass for me as I always start to get hard. Its getting better but it’s taking a while.

I read on here once that doing a stretch over 20 seconds is almost pointless. You’ve already gotten the most out of it after 20 seconds. But I don’t really know.

Why’s that? That would mean hanging over 20 seconds is also pointless since it’s like an advanced version of stretching.

Same here. :( I thought I overcame it, but obviously I was wrong. Manual stretches are not a problem 90% of a time, but out of 3-4 times I’ve tried V-stretches (not for real, just out of curiosity), I got hard every time. I also get hard after 5-10 dry jelqs even after almost 2 months of PE. It’s really annoying, I have to make a pause and wait for it to subside multiple times throughout the session. No porn and no masturbation is not helping me either. Can’t wait for my girlfriend’s period to end.

Everybody is different so you have to make that decision yourself based on if it feels right, nobody except you can answer this. Fulcrum stretches (V- and A-stretches) puts more stress on the penis so these exercises are more intense than regular stretching. PS. We have a term for inverted V-stretches, they are simply called A-stretches.

Good luck!
