Hi guys, have only being PEing a short while made a small 0.25 inch girth gain but have a question about stretching and girth work:

I have read quite a few of your posts and can’t make my mind up what the best course of action is. The problem I face is not knowing when to stretch/milk and when to rest.

Should I stretch/milk then use an ADS (current routine) leaving my member time to recover until my next exercise

Or should I stretch it/milk it at every opportunity whilst awake, I.e. Toilet breaks, periodically throughout the day, as well as my current routine?

I’m sure it gets enough rest when I sleep but wanted your thoughts. I have read that some guys are continually yanking it when ever the chance arises, any comments would be much appreciated. Some length increase would really make me a believer..

Hey, first I have to tell you that 0.25 is no small girth gain.
Those guys who wank and pull every day, loose at the end. The stressed penis needs rest more than just one night.
IMO ADS should not Be worn all day, a few hours maybe, but that is only IMO.

I try to not jack off as much. It helps with blood flow, I just get hard, then lets it subside and throughout the day I will get hard ons. More boners=More blood Flow=More growth.

I’ve been body building off and on for almost 10 years now and can’t help but compare muscles to my PE workouts, I have had great gains from body building and consider myself a well informed person, I just want to try and start to be the same for PE, I feel this question is one of the basics that routines can be designed around. I know the importance of rest for your muscles to rebuild bigger and stronger, and nutrition plays a massive part also, I am also of the opinion that nutrition will also help with PE, protein is the key to tissue repair not just muscle, so my nutrition is always good due to the body building,vitamins and minerals are also a part of my diet your body needs everything to grow, so can’t see why this won’t encourage growth of the penis also. The thing I am a little confused with is the rest for a non muscle, I am the kind of guy who likes to know as much as possible before starting something just in case injury is caused, or negative results obtained, but since there is no rule book I suppose listening to your body is the key, it’s just not talking very loudly at the moment, maybe it’s the lack of time spent, but if I’m wanting to be the next bib then I need to start hearing something.

If anyone out there can assist with the rest vs exercise debate please post, I would be very interested in what some good length gainers think especially Bib if your out there.

I would like to start to hang but want to get the rest vs exercise done and dusted before I start. Is hanging the way forward? Only time will tell I suppose.

You don’t grow when you excercise, you grow when you rest. Then again you can’t rest if you haven’t been excercising. So at the end no one is more important than the other, one thing is for sure though. It’s better to rest too much than to excercise too much. Always take rest over excercise in a moment of doubt.

I agree with you Godzilla about listening to your body. I have decided to spend time doing some very basic newbie PE routines and not overdo it too much and see what happens to my penis. From early results I hope to then make some more informed choices because I think that everybody’s penis can react in different ways when they do the exercises described on this site. I’ll take it easy for a while and then consider taking some more time and then doing different exercises.

At the moment I’m on the newbie routine 2 days on and 1 day off. In the last week I’ve been doing some more stretches in the morning and occasionally in the day. In the beginning I wasn’t informed enough and was doing 6 days on and 1 day off and I discovered this was WAY too much for me to begin with so I cut back.


Start 03 Sept 05: 6.5" BPEL 6" EL 5.5" EG

Now: 7.5" BPEL 6.5" EL 5.6" EG Current Goal: 7.75" BPEL 7" EL 5.8" EG Big Goal: 8" EL 6" EG

I read an interesting post regarding the effectiveness of ADS’ and when to use them. I’ll see if I can find it, though it basically went something like this: it’s more effective to use them after you do manual stretching and create micro-tears in the tissue.

I use my ADS prior to manual stretching and have been doing fine. Until I plateau, I’ll be doing the same routine.

If you have just started PEing, I would advice you to follow the newbie routine.

My personal experience is that I need time off after jelking and pumping, But I do not need to take breaks from stretching or Extender.

I try to stretch as much as possible, And wear my extender as much as possible, Jelking and/or pumping a few times a week seems to be plenty for me.

First Point - VERY IMPORTANT….

If your current routine is working (and it is, seeing you’ve gained 0.25” EG) then DON’T CHANGE A THING. Leave it as it is. Its not broke, dont fix it!

To give an answer to your question, well, the best course of action will vary from person to person (as always)

However, I will still answer :)

I think the best course of action may be as follows…

1) Manual Stretches
2) Jelqing
3) Max Strength Manual Stretches (use common sense here)
4) 60 second massage to reinvigorate bloodflow
5) ADS for as much of the remaining day as possible

Obviously this would be better if performed in the morning, allowing more ADS time.


Current PE status - Contemplating Retirement. STARTED - 6.75"x5.25" CURRENTLY 7.5"x5.5" - BPFSL - 7.25"

Thanks for the replies guys, I try and perform all my main work out during am so I get a good few hours of ADS in, I can do this almost every day at the moment. Would it harm to stretch a bit more after you have stopped the ADS say during the evening? Or is it advisable to do an intense evening workout also? I can’t help but think a gentle stretch (at least) to keep everything spaced out as much inside should help, this makes sense to me but then again no length gains as yet, prob about 2 months inconsistent at the moment, so who am I to say if this is right. I see Big Girthas sign off “never let it turtle” I try and keep that in mind and should I see any kind of shrinkage I give it a quick pull again. I’ll keep it going for a while, I think stretched flaccid is grown and from what I have read I think EL growth is next.. Watch this space

Would still like to hear from some experienced length gainers about their opinions on this subject.
