So I jelq once every two days, following that famous modified newbie routine. I follow this with manual stretches..

But I was wondering if I could maybe increase stretching to every day, or every other day?

What takes longer to recover from, the jelq or the stretch?

That depends. I would say the jelq. Some stretch routines are so gentle you can do them 5 days in a row An example of this would be Fowfers.

Since I’m far more interested in length than girth, already at 5.5” mid-shaft, I have been thinking of increasing the number of weekly stretching sessions. This discussion and another current thread seem to confirm that stretches can be done more regularly than jelqs, without overtraining.

For the 4 weeks of my PE routine, I have generally done 3 sessions weekly. I’m going to go to a schedule of 3 on, 1 off for stretching and jelq 1 on, 1 off for the next few weeks.
