I read the sticky above, with all the people saying how they had reported venous leaks and whatnot. Saying they couldn’t get hard on’s anymore. I want to start up jelqing I really would be happy with about .5 length increase and like a 1 inch girth increase. However, it might sound silly but I’m really nervous/scared to try and start up if it could potentially fuck me up for good.

You do not have to STRANGLE your junk to jelq properly. Make sure you do a thorough warm up ( ten minutes in a warm bath ), and take it slow. Try for 25 reps every other day until you get a feel for it. Again, you are NOT trying to choke your dick. Go for a slow and deliberate movement of blood and make sure to use plenty of lube. The jelq is as individual to a person as masturbation technique. Take it slow.

Don’t be afraid man. For pretty much everyone it is a highly beneficial exercise for penis health and will also help you in your gains. Focus on the positive and just take it easy.

For the warm up is just taking a hot shower beforehand good enough? So I’m just doing 25 jelq reps and then I’m done?

For warmup I’d recommend a concentrated heat source such as a bath (already suggested) or what I do which is a cup of hot water. A shower might not concentrate enough heat.

Well! I will speak for my own personal opinion, for me “wet jelqing” is number one sensation killer, specially if you jelq longer than 20 minutes daily, you will not longer enjoy the feeling of the pussy like before, not even hand or blowjob. Took me 4 weeks to recover for wet jelqing effect

"Dry jelqing” actually boost my EQ and make me enjoy sex so dam much.

Just take it slow - easy - and build your way up. Watch your PI’s and EQ.

I said in another thread earlier today that I’d take jelqing out if the newbie routine. I just don’t think we enough about how these injuries are occurring. Too often the it’s just assumed that it’s jelqing for too hard or too long, but we don’t know that. Personally, and I’m in a tiny minority here (maybe it’s just me), but I start with kegels and light stretching only. Then increase the amount of stretching over time until length gains have been achieved. For girth I’d be more inclined to light pump to start with and add some mild manual clamping and build up over a long time until your penis is sufficiently conditioned to clamp. I think clamping is the most effective girth exercise, but it’s an advanced exercise that people usually build up to after maxing out on jelqing gains. But I think you can condition your penis for clamping without going down the jelqing route. Looking at the injury thread there are a lot of clamping injuries, but they tend to be things like thrombosed veins etc. You certainly don’t want these, but the injuries we absolutely need to avoid more than anything are those that cause erectile problems and it’s rare you come across someone with this type of injury that isn’t jelqing.

As i said, I’m pretty much on my own in this opinion and 99% wont agree with me. But in my opinion the idea that jelqing is one of the safer exercises isn’t founded on much of any value. It has always been seen as the core PE exercise and therefore essential, but I think PE has moved on and think maybe it’s time for a whole rethink from the PE community. We know clamping is more effective, but it’s always been assumed that it’s far more dangerous. But we have to establish if this is really true. Are the injuries caused by clamping worse than those caused by jelqing?

Do you have any reasons why? I mean there isn’t much difference besides lube I guess.
