This is my first post so do bare with me.
I started to PE about 2 years ago. I didn’t tell the wife but managed to get away with telling her I needed to do back exercises as recommended by my osteopath. Anyway, all was going great and after 6 months or so I had noticed decent gains. Then, my mum passed away and I stopped PE because of how crap I felt. Then about a year ago my wife said she really wanted a boob job which gave me the perfect opportunity to mention I wanted to do PE (like for like). She was ok about it, but only just ok. She had her surgery and I started to PE again. After a couple of months she basically said PE was weird and disturbing and she wanted me to stop. I tried to explain my PE was pretty much the same as her surgery but she wasn’t having it. I decided I would PE after work (I’m self employed with my own premises). Since I’ve started doing this I’m just not getting the same results as before. EQ just is not the same as when I first started and all the PI’s point to overtraining. The only thing I’ve changed in my routine is the grip I use for manual stretches, before it was an underhand grip and now I use an overhand OK grip which does allow me to stretch that bit harder. Am I overtraining ? Or is it my frame of mind? I really don’t know. Any advise?
