Raw Dataset of Lifestyles research: Cancun, Mexico

I’ve used the search function at least a dozen times and I’ve used google for about an hour but for the life of me I have yet to find an actual table of the measurements that took place on that day. If someone knows where I can find this information it would be much appreciated.

Quote
Ansell, makers of LifeStyles Condoms, has conducted research into average penis size. The survey found that the average length of the erect penis is 5.877 inches (14.928cm), with the majority ranging between the small 5.5 inch penis size (14cm) and the large 6.3 inch penises (16cm).

The average girth is 4.972 inches (12.63cm), with the majority ranging between 4.7 inches (12cm) and 5.1 inches (13cm). This indicates that the difference between small penis size and large is not very big.

Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.

You could ask Ansell/Lifestyles for the data.

I don’t know, but I love these studies. They always make me feel so good about my cock size.

Is this BP or NBP? I’m assuming it’s NBP. If it were BP it’d make me feel great, lol.

10/2008 BPEL= 6.5" NBPEL= 6" EG= 5"

6 month goal: NBPEL= 6.75" EG= 5.25"

Main Goal: NBPEL= 8" EG= 6"

There doesn’t seem to be any actual bona fide detail charts from the Cancun study. The one at Mr Average was then added to Wiki by someone, but has been found by Para-Goomba to have Kinsey mixed in (but is being presented as just the Cancun stats), and therefore it was made up.

I tried that before. No reply.

I hope you get a response. I would love to see the raw data.

Because of what sta-kool found, I think we can safely say that it is closer to BPEL. It isn’t NBPEL, but I just don’t think that these nurses would be pressing as hard as we do when measuring. Maybe add another 1/8” to get something equivalent.

We can probably decrease it by 1/8 as well because the hard ons were voluntary and.. When the time came to measuring.. EQ probably wasn’t 100% in 100% of the individuals.

What ska-kool found was a link to the cornell sun (weird "news/blog" site, I ended up reading other articles from it).

Specifically this link, which is what made me assume it was bone pressed:

Inside of the article it reads

This time, measurements were taken by nurses from the point where the penis meets the body (at the pubic bone). The study also found that the average erect penis had a girth of 4.972 inches, with three quarters of dudes measuring between 4.5 and 5.5 inches around.

The other two links that said something different.

Maybe I’m misreading something here.. The base of the erect penis where the top of the penile shaft meets the pubic area sounds like NBP to me.

What’s troubling me is that we have this figurative chart from LifeStyles, a website from ansell that gives the averages and number of participants and some forums and a college newspaper as the only sources reporting the measuring method. It seems really troublesome to get some *hard* data on this. I’m leaning towards that it was NBPEL because they are a condom company and wouldn’t be interested in BPEL measurements. http://www.free -condom-stuff.c … on/research.htm

It’s missing that really important piece of information (for us).

Come next Wednesday if I don’t receive a reply back I’ll phone them and see what I can extract.

I agree with the ambiguity of these quotes. The Cornell student reporter’s quote sounds like BP, but who knows where she got this or if she made it up. I don’t think it’s any worse than the credibility of the other two sources, though. You are right, they sound NBP, but if they don’t quote a source, I’d say they are all making it up and only have the same information we have.

As I said in my analysis of the Ansell data in comparison to ours, both fat pad and EQ would be likely explanations for the difference between the Lifestyles data and TP’s data (or Kinsey).

Hey there. Please visit the page for analysis made by myself relying on data collected in the height vs. length. vs. girth. There is a zip file with the graphs, information, conclusions, ave. size, and some fun calculators I added for you to compare with other guys. Tell me what you think!!!

Oh, sorry, the link is:

Patience…

Hmmmm that is not the link! Im sorry, if you want go and search for a thread called: height vs. length vs. girth

Don’t know why that patience thread is put as the link!!
