Why are you guys so picky about peoples grammar? I mean I could understand not wanting people to use sloppy or confusing Internet slang but you guys are getting onto people for not capitalizing letters. I’m not trying to be an ass at all here but is their some higher meaning for that?

end of 2009: BPEL-7.1 EG-4.8 (I was happy with my gains and got lazy and left the game)

2018: Ive returned after 10 years out of the game to chase that mythic 8x6

Yes, there is. If you hadn’t noticed, English is not the primary language of many of the members. To make it easier for them to understand and to help work on their own grammar and English, you must punctuate, spell and all that other stuff properly.

Just write standard English. It is not that hard.

Obsession is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated.

For me, it’s refreshing that there’s at least one forum that enforces proper grammar… IM lingo pollutes enough things as it is.

Any time champ. I was a little worried about the strict posting guidelines (I never capitalize myself) but I am more that pleased with the conduct and educate of Thunder’s Place. It is a great change of pace from the forums I am use to. I love the community in this forum. Thanks Thunder!
