Questions regarding injuries

This is my first post, been doing PE for bout a month now.

I dont know what it is but there is this tendon looking vein (not a vein though) at the base of my penis and on the right hand side. It´s fairly thick, far thicker than a vein at least and is kind of hard at the same time. It only appears when I do jelqs but I experience soreness deep inside me after about 15 minutes of jelqs and that tendon or whatever it is pops up. I am afraid I am injurying myself but I don´t want to stop because I feel like Im making good progress. Anyone know what this might be and if I am possibly injurying myself?

Also, anyone know how easy it is to injure that nerve that runs along the shaft of your penis and maybe what to do to avoid injurying that nerve?

wuskript,

Welcome to the board. Sounds like a thrombosed vein to me. I had one once and I had to lay off PE until it healed (about a month). As I understand it, this is what happens when a blood clot is worked loose and blocks a vein. When the vein fills with blood, it can’t circulate it and gets hard and swells. Then it gets infected and swells more. Anyway, it’s been a while, but my doctor told me that jelqing most likely loosened the clot and continued to aggravate the vein once clogged. He told me the vein would clear itself in a bit if left alone. Took some kind of antibiotic too, but can’t remember what. Mine felt like a solid rope under the skin. Let’s hope some of the more experienced guys check in soon and help out here.

That definitely sounds like what I have here. It only shows up though either when Im really really hard or when I jelq for an extended period of time. Also, it doesn´t hurt, except i feel soreness on that side but deep inside (if you know what Im saying) after jelqing for a while. I actually did PE about 8 months ago and had this happen, I then stopped because I thought I was injurying myself. It´s now back after a month of resuming PE. Should I just work through it and ignore it? Or should I start taking an antibiotic? I´d really rather not go to a doctor is the thing…

wuskript,
I was searching the board for reference, and found a lot of information that might help you. Just search (button on top right of page) for "thrombose" and you will find more than you can imagine. This post, for example, gives some info on treatments of a thrombosed vein: Advice and supplements for thrombosed veins

That said, it could still be something completely different, I am only relating that what I had sounds extremely similar, and it did turn out to be a thrombosed vein. There are a lot of other things in a penis that could behave in a similar manner, and not all of them bad. I am by no means even an amateur at diagnosing these things, sure wish someone like westla90069 would chime in here…

Hey guys, how about helping wuskript out…

Hey man thanks for the info, it sounds like that may be what I have. I really dont want to take time off though. Ill take some of the supplements suggested on that thread and see if it goes away on it´s own. If it seems to get worse Ill be forced to take time off. Hopefully I can continue and just work through it. I feel like it may also be a loosened ligament that popped out, I dont know. It just feels rock hard, not like a vein at all but I guess thats what a thrombosed vein feels like.
