I came to this site quite some time ago (can’t remember when; join date will probably tell you), got really excited, started doing PE and then wound up completely forgetting about it (shameful, I know) due to school, moving, work, and relationship(s). Just came back and found this site again maybe a month ago, read everything I could, and have now started up again. I’ve been self-conscious about the size of my penis all throughout life. Sexually I haven’t received complaints (yet), but I have received several comments such as “Your size is fine” or “It’s a good size”, which always meant to me “it could be bigger but it’ll do”. I’m now in a place where I feel positive I’d be able to do PE at night on a set schedule without fail. I have a goal in my mind and I intend to meet it no matter how long it takes.

Unfortunately, I’m starting to want to do additional things (current routine will be shown below) to help things get going. I started on the 15th and have been going on 2 days/off 1 since then. The first 4 sessions I was just starting smaller to work up to where I am now. Here’s the routine:

3-5 minute warm wrap (recently added, need to find better method than washcloth)
5 minute manual stretches (LOT is 6:30-7, so I’m stretching up, left, and right)
1 minute inverted V-stretch
200 3-second dry jelqs at 50-80%
1 minute of Uli #3’s

I guess my main question is what should I be doing? I’m wanting to increase the length of time I do some exercises and maybe start wrapping during the day, but I don’t want to injure myself or prevent gains by doing too much too fast. Should I stick with this routine, or add/subtract anything from it? Should I just follow the newbie routine to the letter for the first 1-2 months and then re-evaluate? Also, as I understand it, with my low LOT I shouldn’t even bother with lig stretching. That’s what I’ve been doing, but I just want to make sure this is correct, because if there’s any chance I could get some lig gains I’d like to take advantage of it.

I hope I remain within the guidelines and etiquette of the forums in posting this… if not, please let me know and I apologize in advance. Otherwise, please help a new guy out and give me your thoughts/advice. Many thanks in advance. :)

I started a month ago as well.

Your routine looks pretty good. I would suggest more stretches? Because they aid better for increasing length.
For a warm wrap, I use a hot shower and I do my stretching in the hot shower as well-if your short on time.
You can also throw in kegels as well. Theres a pretty good kegel routine on here that I go by. I’ll post it if you want.
Becareful of dry jelqs. In fact, you should start off with lubricant since your basically starting a month ago. And 80% erection level is a bit too high.
Remember, any pain is bad. Its pretty obvious, but a lot of people end up hurting themselves.

Don’t focus too much on LOT. Even some of the veteran posters here tell the newbies to discount the LOT theory. Its a good base to start off with, but dont base your routine entirely upon it. Its not as if LOT has even been proven. I have a low LOT, but I decided to just ignore it and focus on ligament stretching.

One problem that I just started running into last night is I seem to be experiencing some kind of ED when I try to jelq while standing. I’ll get maybe 8-10 jelqs in before my 50-80% erection fades away. When I lie on my back (as I had been doing previously), this isn’t so much of an issue, but jelqing doesn’t feel “right” when I lie down. Any suggestions?

You have to decide for yourself what your penis is ready for, but all recommendations will be to stick to the newbie routine for at least a couple of months.

The only thing I would be concerned about from your routine is the Ulis. Might want to wait there.

Also, I notice that you did not mention any BC excersizes. Add some, you will be glad you did.

For the warm up, try a rice sock. Nuke it to warm it up.

Other than that, be patient. You will start to see some gains, you will condition your cock, you can read up on all the other excersizes, then move in whatever direction suits you. It sounds like you are prepared for the long haul, which is the right attitude.

I think-though dont quote me-to strengthen the BC muscles you can do kegels. Kegels have increased my erection quality and some people have said they could have longer sex because of kegels. But kegels have also caused premature ejaculation and increased sensitivity with some others. But doing kegels should cause you to have stronger and more erections, so that can help you with jelqing as well.

Anyways, I don’t have an answer to your question. But I did have a similar experience. At first, I was able to maintain a steady erection when I was jelqing. But after a week, I was unable to maintain even a moderate erection when jelqing. I took a 2 day break, and then lighten my routine. I also watch porn when I’m doing jelqing, but be sure to not jelq fully erect-thats only for the veterans who can’t gain anymore.

Well, I’m gonna try giving myself a 2-day break and then eliminating the Uli’s. It’s really disconcerting that I have difficulty retaining my erection, because in all other situations I’m rearing and ready to go without fail. But I’ll see how it goes after the break. It really does feel much better jelqing while standing up… feels like I’m getting a real workout.

Also, with the rice sock idea, my microwave’s broken and it won’t be possible until I get a new one. I think I’m going to try using a bottle of hot water for the warmup. Hopefully it’ll work alright.
