Hey there.. First day of PE here. Got a question for people who have made gains with stretching primarily..

How slow do you move the stretch, and after warming up, do you ease into intensity of stretching, rather than going all out with intensity right away?

I’ve been reading some horror stories about damaged nerves (doctor verified) with stretching, so want to do everything I can to avoid that.

Stretch just like you would any other muscle, slowly at first and building in intensity toward the end. It is hard to hurt yourself stretching IMO, hanging however is a different story.
