Question About The Fat Pad

Doing the newbie routine is like doing some light cardio anyways. :D

Maybe go for a walk/jog in the morning and come back and do routine while showering.

Losing the fat pad is what got me interested in PE. I lost 130 pounds and could see my dick for the first time in years. That started me on the journey that ended here.

Good luck

How much length you gained losing all that fat, B-G? A rough approximation could be good enough.

I tried a whole bunch of things when it came to exercise and nutrition, before I found what worked for me. Eventually I got down to a quite muscular 180, right now I’m a slightly fatter (and also more muscular) 193 (med school means it is hard to fit in time to workout and eat right). I’m going to get back to my ideal, but school obviously takes precedence.

I’d wholeheartedly suggest you check out “The Anabolic Diet” by Dr. Mauro Dipasquale. It is designed to naturally raise your testosterone and GH levels. From my personal experience and from the biochemistry I know, it definitely works. It’ll strip fat off you like nothing else I’ve ever seen, and add muscle as well.

For working out I’d suggest checking out the book “Starting Strength” by Mark Rippetoe. It is the best book I’ve ever seen about the subject of lifting weights. As a side note, I’d suggest achieving your fat loss by gaining muscle rather than trying to do cardio. Lifting weights has the added benefit of increasing testosterone levels, which can only help with PE.

You can get by just fine without Dr. Dispasquale’s book it doesn’t add too much to the information already on the web. I’d strongly suggest buying Rippetoe’s book or DVD. I’ve personally bought and given (had training partners borrow) 3 copies already.

Best of luck in your fat loss and PE.

Hey johnnychimpo.

Thanks for taking a special intrest in my situation man. It helps me alot knowing that I’m not the only one out here with these problems. I am looking at dieting this summer and losing this weight. A friend of mine lost 50lbs in a two month period just by eating healthy and working out.

I don’t know what diet to follow yet, since I want to gain muscle, not lose the fat and be just skinny, ya know? Lol. But I’m definitely going to check out that “Anabolic Diet” you suggested.

Another thing I should bring into perspective, is I recently found out I have low testosterone levels for my age. I'm 18 and will be turning 19 in November. I had always suspected I had low testosterone levels since I matured at a later age then I had ever expected. My doctor referred me to a Hormone Specialist, so I will most likely end up being prescribed with some sort of testosterone enhancer.

Always happy to help..

Basically the way it works is this, muscle is energetically expensive to maintain. So the more muscle you have the more calories you use in a day, and the easier it is to get lean. For beginners and especially someone of your age (I’m 27) the Anabolic diet will allow you to initially gain muscle while losing fat, this is a very hard thing to achieve and I think the Anabolic diet is the best way to do it.

However I’ve also seen knowledgeable people suggest things like Barry Sears Zone diet, or Tom Venuto’s eating plan. I’ve tried both as well as Atkins and those stupid liquid diets. I found the Anabolic diet to be the simplest and the easiest to deal with, as well as the most effective. It is basically, eat fatty meat during the week, eat whatever carby crap you like on the weekend. You don’t need to count calories or anything just check yourself out in the mirror if you haven’t lost weight, eat less this coming week, if you’ve lost too much or aren’t looking more muscular eat a bit more. Diet is one of those things you have to experiment with and see what works for you.

When it comes to lifting weights though, Rippetoe is right and that is pretty much it. I’ve tried various other workout plans, and Rippetoe is on the ball. His routine is designed to get beginners strong and muscular as quickly as possible.

As far as low testosterone goes, when I was at my fattest I had myself tested and my testosterone was also a bit low. I went to an endocrinologist who basically told me he wouldn’t write a prescription for me, and to quit drinking, lose some weight, and work out. I followed his advice via the diet plan and lifting weights, and now I feel like a monster. That is literally the only way to describe it, I’m strong and my mood is a thousand times better.

I put it all down to lifting weights, eating a ton of red meat and eggs (a normal day for me is 1.5 pounds of ground beef and 10 eggs, sometimes after working out I’ll chow down a steak), and severely cutting down on my drinking (from 5 beers a day to 6 over a weekend). The meat actually is the secret. Cholesterol is a precursor for testosterone, the more you have, the more T you can make. A lot of people will say “you can’t eat that many eggs and all that red meat, you’ll have a heart attack”, but the truth is young men in their 20s don’t die from heart attacks.. The more serious issue is being overweight and having a cock that doesn’t work.

Best of luck to you, personally I’d skip any sort of testosterone therapy.. By having it added externally you’re only encouraging your body to make less naturally. Just eat meat, and lift heavy. You’ll never meet a man who can squat double bodyweight who has low testosterone (I personally can’t yet, but I’m working on getting there).

Why would your dick be longer if you loose weight ?

Because you’ll actually be able to see it! :chuckle:

Seriously, JTR has mentioned that he has a fat pad that obscures about 2-3” of the penis - get rid of that and you instantly “grow” (both visually and workably) by up to that much. Although the penis hasn’t actually grown, you’ll be able to see more of it and use more of it and that’s a good thing! Also, a healthy body weight and a good level of fitness will help ensure good circulation and that really helps maintain a good flaccid!

Mariner; at my heaviest around 333 pounds I had about a 4” pad, maybe more, it was a fist full. No hang whatsoever. The only way I could see my dick soft was with a mirror. I know I wrote about this years ago. How my urologist had to actually pull my dick of the fat pad with her fingers just to examine it. I lost 130 pounds in about a year and my flaccid hang looked 4” longer after I lost the gut. Then my dick got real fat and heavy from four years of extreme girth work. It still tries to turtle, but there is no place for it to hide anymore. I’ve gained a lot of total volume, but have lost a little erect length from all the girth work. That’s why I recommend everyone work length first. A thick dick is very hard to stretch, but getting rid of the fat pad really makes it look bigger.

Well, I don’t drink. I do smoke though. Have been since I was 12 years old. I’m now down to only a pack a week though, so I’m doing well on that notice. See, I always thought I was a late maturer and that I always need a “boost” if you will. I always thought my voice was not deep enough to be an 18 year old, or that having a small penis and barely any facial hair at this age is just wrong, which is why I’m hoping this Endocrinologist I see can prescribe me any type of testosterone enhancer.

Yeah, that’s something that actually kind of scares me.. O_o

I’m afraid the saturated fat from the carbs and total fat in the meat I would eat could actually cause those things.

When I went to my urologist to get my testicles checked for an infection I thought I had, he too had to pull back the fat pad around my penis.

OMG.. I have that same problem right now! I call it “the turtle syndrome.” It’s VERY annoying. I always thought It was my pubes pinching my dick, but I’m still not sure what causes it. But I want it to go away. =(

Hi, I’m new here and have a similar sort of problem, I’m 25, 185cm tall and 14.3stone. My bpel is 7.25” x an eg of 5.25” but due to having a very thick fat pad I’m loosing 2” of dick.

I’m a week into BigAl’s starter routine from lpsg and am trying to loose weight too. I’ve never really had a bad diet so I’m hoping that simply increasing my excersise will do the trick.

I was wondering, when you take your measures, what you call the BP way I think, you press the ruler against your bone. Thing is, I’m not really overweight but I can easily gain 1 inch by pressing it more against my body. Is it because I got a fat pad or something like it ?

Yes. We call it fat-pad, but maybe the difference is not caused only by the local fat. Are you cut or uncut, out of curiosity?

I’m uncut, I have some weight to loose but you wouldn’t really notice unless you take the time to look at my stomach. Is it normal to have a bit of fat there ?

i’m overweight and have a fatpad of around 1.4” and am trying to work it off slowly but surely but it’s tough….friggin tough!!
