Question about Ligs and Recovery

Question about Ligs and Recovery

I’ve been doing PE on and off for a long time, so I’m not necessarily new at it. However, I’ve been very consistent the last couple months and I’ve been doing hanging and manual stretching (I’m only focused on length right now).

I’ve done hanging with different positions and I managed to hit the area under and to the sides of the penis pretty good. Both sides have been fairly sore for a while now, meaning I’m putting stress on them.

My question is, should I take a break and wait until they’ve fully healed and I can’t feel soreness in the top lig and the underneath/side ones before I continue stretching?

They’ve literally been sore for two weeks now and I don’t want to keep stretching them if these are negative PI’s and it’s only going to set me back.

Or have I hit a spot where now is the time to be more aggressive and force the ligs to stretch farther?

I’m unsure which way to go right now.

I’m as green as they come when it comes to PE but have worked out for 20 years and from what I have read about PE, there are some distinct similarities. I did chest and used to get that good burn from a great workout and all was well when I was ready to hit it again. One day that burn was a bit stronger than most days and persisted when I had to do chest again. I went ahead and did it anyway and ended up having to stop half way through. That “burn” ended up being a torn rotator cuff.

Hopefully you don’t have to worry about anything serious but listen to your body. When it is sore is, in my experience, it needs rest.

Are you still getting normal erections?

Yes definitely. I have higher than normal testosterone and I think it causes me to have normal rock hard erections many times during the day.

I do body building exercising as well and I know what you mean, that is why I’m wary of pushing too hard. I just wasn’t sure if in PE the time to strike so to speak is when my ligs are sore like this.

I expect that you will find guys willing to champion either camp. BIB and others made a point of riding the fatigue, hanging for many hours every day.

No matter what you do, be able to differentiate between fatigue and actual damage.

I guess you are right iamaru, that’s the tough thing to figure out. It’s not pain, it’s just some sore ligs. When I kegel with a partial or full erection, I can feel the soreness in the underneath/side ligs, but when I do a stretch routine right now I feel okay, just that it’s sore.

I wouldn’t want to waste potential gains but like you said I wouldn’t want to do actual damage.

You are better off erring on the side of caution. I’d recommend to take a few days off with maybe just light stretches

I’d have to vote for a break. You’ve got all the time in the world to work it and I wouldn’t think it would be worth the risk.

My journey .... My pics

Start BPEL 6.50" x MSEG 5.00"

Now BPEL 7.625" x MSEG 5.25"

Thanks guys, I’ll probably take a few days off.
