Question about clamping

First of all, I’m a PE newbie and I won’t clamp in next at least 6 months, but I have some questions.

I see sets of 10 minutes are standard, 15 minutes being the maximum suggested time for clamping, everything beyond that being too dangerous. I tried manual clamping (with my thumb and index finger) after a regular PE workout for 30 seconds or so (out of curiosity) and my penis got pretty swollen with veins bulging everywhere. I’m sure the grip wasn’t too tight. Girth increased by 0.2” (temporary, of course). My point is, if that happens after only ~30 seconds, I can’t even imagine what would it look like after full 10 minutes. On to the question, would 3 sets of 3 minutes be better, equal or worse than 1 set of 9 minutes? I think I’d be afraid to clamp for 10 minutes.

Second question… Can you get permanent discoloration (at least slightly darker penis skin) from clamping? How effective are firegoat rolls in discoloration prevention?

I’m wondering if you got all the answers to the questions you pose, whether you could wait 6 months..:-k

You’ve seen from just short bursts of manual clamping how easily your dick becomes engorged - this is a good thing. Just don’t think that it will double in size like that every 30 seconds. :D

Your engorgement will plateau after a few sets, though this can be expanded over subsequent weeks and months aas your penis becomes used to clamping and you get used to the way your penis reacts under such pressures.

When you start clamping proper (in 6 months remember ;) ) 3 x 5 minute sets will suffice. 1 set of 9-10 minutes is fine but it only involves one maximum expansion, whereas with 3 x 5 you will get 3 maximum expansions, thereby giving you 3 opportunities to experience what intensity under pressure feels like.

Discoloration is a risk most clampers will have to take, it doesn’t happen to everyone, but firegoat rolls are the best preventative method I’ve come across. Signifcant wrapping along the shaft or wearing a condom can help too if you’re particularly susceptible.

Haha, thanks for your concern. :) And thanks for quality reply as well. :) Don’t worry, I’m responsible and I won’t take my penis for granted. ;) When it’s ready, it’s ready. And that’s not yet. :P

How exactly is wrapping done? I’ve read a thread about discoloration earlier and if I got it right, it’s supposed to counter the pressure from inside?

Ironically, I’m not one to use wrap that often, but if I did, I’d just take a strip of material, from plain cotton to a sock, to mouse mat sponge and wrap it round the base of my dick before applying the clamp. This is covered in the first link I posted. :rolleyes:

I’m not talking about wrapping the clamp, that one’s pretty obvious. I’m talking about wrapping the whole penis to prevent discoloration.

You don’t wrap drilla? Don’t you pinch your skin in the clamp - I did that once and it sucks.


Time to measure girth soon... previously 4.5", been targeting girth for months!

I don’t think it matters a lot whether you do 3, 5, or 10 minutes. Just monitor it and make sure your dick doesn’t fall off.

You skin will darken if you clamp regularly. Mine looks like my cock has a deep rich tan (light brown). It hasn’t changed either way in months. For me it’s not been an issue.

Have you ever tried firegoat rolls?

I don’t roll. Like I said, the minor discoloration is not an issue and no chick has said a word about it.

If I stopped PE for a month, I believe the discoloration would nearly disappear. But that’s not going to happen.

I’ve got another question. How does clamping affect EQ?

In my experience, all girth exercises improved my EQ. So I think it should be the same with clamping.

Depends on if you play it safe of not. Clamping is serious biznizzz (lol…but clamping can be dangerous).

I’d probably be afraid to do it for longer than 5 minutes. I’ve read about people doing aggressive clamping, many sets of 15+ minutes, multiple clamps etc. and I’d never do something like that.

First reason is obvious, fear of injury. Second reason is to get as less discoloration as possible.

I remember him saying once he’s careful not to pinch. I tried without a wrap too but it isn’t tight enough on the CS side so now use one. A Sock :)

I can’t use a sock, every spare sock I get is stolen by my other half for making sock monkeys :(
