Pumping safer then Jelqing?

Pumping safer then Jelqing?

I was thinking about the reported erectile dysfunction some people experience that do PE. The main culprit must be Jelqing since merely stretching doesn’t seem like it would be effecting the valves.

Jelqing increases blood pressure in these valves and weak valves could be damaged by this pressure, essentially the valves are being made to resist a pressure above what they were designed to which causes failure in those with already weak valves.

I was thinking hydro pumping (bathmate) or regular pumping might be a safer option because the blood is being pulled not pushed into the penis ie negative pressure not positive pressure. Also since its not necessary to have an erection whatever mechanism which retains blood in the penis whilst having an erection does not come into play.

I wonder if there is a correlation between those who get ED from doing PE and those with varicoceles?

The short answer is that depends on how you do it.

If you are careful both pumping and jelqing are safe and should enhance your EQ or erectile function rather than damage it. I certainly found that. Thunders has an extensive list of relevant posts on both. Use the search function and you will find a wealth of info to make sure you operate safely.

I consider jelqing and pumping complementary and do both as well as extending. .

I have a varicocele on the left side of my scrotum. PE, including jelqing, has not made it any worse.

Basically if jelqing is causing problems with EQ it is an issue of technique and/or intensity and is not an intrinsic issue of jelqing itself. Addressing intensity, technique, and volume should correct any problems.

And pumping and jelqing are very complimentary, as Austfred points out, and generally should be done together if possible. At least some light jelqing between sets.

Varicoceles is widely accepted to be caused by defective valves, it is also widely accepted that those with varicoceles have a higher reported frequency of Venogenic Erectile Dysfunction. It would seem that since they have this genetic defect in valves they have a higher chance of injury due to PE?

Interesting. With variocelle you mean a hard thick vein? I have one too doesnt hurt or anything.. but its a flat thick vein.. also on the left side which is no coincidence I think cause there is a difference between left and right side regarding testicles and blood flow(heart..)

They are not really hard, but definitely thick. If you push your finger into the left side of my scrotum it feels like a “sack of worms.” That description was directly from a urologist. Mine originated from an injury playing soccer when I was a kid. That side swelled up huge and black, it was gross and scary. After seeing urologist and fearing surgery, a different urologist said that was unnecessary and irresponsible and that it would just heal naturally and I would be left with a varicocele. I, of course, went with the non-surgical route and the second guy was right, it healed with no loss of function.

I’ve got one on the right, from a waterskiing incident. It has never caused any problem with PE.

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results
