Hey guys, I am relatively new to the PE game; I have been doing basic manual work for maybe 4 months total on and off (not too serious until now). Recently I have bought a pump and have been following a 1 on 1 off schedule with the occasional switch up to 2 on 1 off. However, one of the main reasons I bought the pump was to use before sex for extra sensitivity, girth, and hardness. The hardness and sensitivity are very apparent after my sessions but girth seems to be relatively minimal. I am 5.5 girth on a given day and after pumping for around 30 min I tend to only be 5.65. As of now my routine consists of a hot shower and hot towel to warm up, followed by 5 min stretching and 5-10 min of jelqing at 20-40 percent. Then, I proceed to use the pump for 3 sets of 5-8 min range at 1.5 Hg to a high of 3 Hg since I am playing it safe as a beginner. I also edge between sets as a form of rest. After its all said an done, I use another hot towel and massage my member. The biggest boost I have seen was 5.5 to 6 with the use of a ring and 5.5 to 5.7 without. So basically, what would be the ideal routine/length of sets/pressure and timing (how long before) to pump before actual sex in order to get near that 5.75 to 6 inch girth ball park without a ring?

For me, the secret is continuous pumping for 25 to 30 minutes with no break, but starting with a low pressure and slowly increasing pressure as you go. This is a quote from my incremental pump routine thread:

As you progress, increases can be made to the total time and pressure, but I think trying to get to a 30 minute session time should be the primary goal as maximum length and girth expansion occurs in a 30 minute time frame.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Gprent’s method is a very good one. I also find at anything below 5 hg of less then 10 mins has a minimal effect on my temporary girth increase. As you feel more conditioned and comfortable you can up both time and pressure eventually trying gprents method.

Keep in mind if you over do it your EQ and sensitivity will be low.

I believe you need to condition your dick for pumping. I recommend building up to 20 minutes at 5 hg over a 30 day period. I have been pumping for over 7 years and I can now pump for less than ten minutes and generate an additional 1/2 inch plus in girth which I maintain with an Osbon tension band. However, I have ED so the tension band is necessary.

So as a newbie how long would you say would be a safe length of time and pressure for me to do this prior to having sex in order to get the most temporary gains possible relative to my experience level. If I could get a nice .25 boost I would be thrilled haha.

You are already there from what you have been doing. Just do a 15 minute continuous pump with the first 5 minutes at 3”hg, the next 5 minutes @ 4”hg and try the last 5 minutes @ 5”hg, but monitor closely to make sure you are OK at that 5”hg level. I think you will be.

I can’t guarantee how much expansion you will get, but stick with this method and slowly add more time until you get up to 25 to 30 minutes and then start adding a little more pressure. I would say that for several months you don’t need to go any higher then 6”hg. Just always start out at 3”hg and incrementally work your way up.
