Posture and EQ

Posture and EQ

Would you guys say that body posture has anything to do with EQ?

I think it absolutely does. Your pelvic floor contains your bc, ic muscles. If you have bad posture it effects your whole pelvic floor possibly leading to tension. Which can then lead to eq issues.

For example, I had this issue and I am still training myself to fix it. My glans and cs never really filled up. Once I learned to relax those muscles my eq went through the roof.

I used to suck my stomach in constantly, lock my knees and basically hold a kegel as long as I was awake. I didn’t even know I was doing it. Once I corrected all that, eq and swell has been better than I can ever remember.

So yes, I believe poor posture can effect eq.

Great post G!
Many clench the kegels unconciously whole day. A reason why I recommend to not do kegels outside of focused PE exercises.

An “open” relaxed pelvic floor should be the norm. If you look at diagramms the msucles shoudl be relaxed and if not could change body posture and vice versa.

Searching in google one cna find many articles on pelvic floor exercises and relaxation.

Try this experiment: Sit on the edge of your bed and jelq. First, have your ankles crossed and slouch a bit. Next place your feet flat on the floor and sit upright. If you are anything like me, you’ll find your EQ is better the second way. ;)

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

I bet you’re spot on FG. Another one that is a dead giveaway for me is standing or kneeling.

There’s a TED talk about posture and how good posture raises Testosterone (by up to 25%!) and reduces stress hormones, and bad posture does the opposite. Stand tall, shoulders back, head up. If you’re sitting, lean back, spread your legs, spread your arms and put them on the head of the couch of whatever if you can. You can adapt this to PE how you see fit.

Think I arrived late but I think so too.. Posture has a lot to do with PE!

Keeping your head low and shoulder down also compress diaphragm (muscle that regulates lymph circulation, breathing) so bad for PE and recovery!
