Posting Problem

Hi I Was Wondering Why I Can’t Post Anywhere Else Besides The Newbie Forum.
I Have Been A Member Of This Forum Since the 16 of July 2005 (from Member Profile Section) & I still Can’t Post.
Can Someone Explain??

Can’t post or can’t start a thread?

You need 20 posts before you can start a thread in other than the newbie forum. You should be able to respond to any thread in any forum.

A member since July 16th and you only have 12 posts? Crap get posting!

Yeah, this forum is stricter than some in rules etc, but that’s no bad thing! You have to consider what you are going to write before you do it. Made me think twice anyway.

It’s amazing what a glass of red wine or two does for ones sense of humour! Made me laugh anyway.

Olorin: Yep, the rules on grammar, usage and spelling here is one of the things that sets us apart from the ordinary message boards. Because of our worldwide readership as well as the primary subject we deal with here we need all the creditability we can get. I’m glad Thunder and his deputies keep our posting at the highest quality. Only that damned 10 minute edit time makes it hard to get the cork out of a nice Chianti, check for color and clarity, swirl, sniff the bowkay, savor the finish and pour another and still get the post edited in time.

Yes I did read the rules but I thought it said something about after 2 weeks you can post or something like that
Sorry for not replying earlier tiI now I am on a 2 month company trip thing
I only found out I can connect my laptop today at the hotel.
