Is it normal to have a smaller penis temporarily after a PE session?
I’m not talking about turtling, but about the erect length directly after a session.

For me it seems to be roughly 0.5cm shorter then normal.
Is this a common thing or maybe even a sign of overtraining?

It happens, sometimes is a sign of overtraining sometimes not.

it is very normal. In most cases it is not a sign of over training. you pushed your penis very hard so it is no wonder it is not in the best state afterwards. measure bpfsl before and after and you will know if you are making progress.


11.01.2006: BPEL: 17,3 cm (6,8 inches), EG: 13,5 cm (5,3 inches)

Also, what are typical stats that one should be looking for in this case?

I almost went from 7in to 8in in length(almost achieved my primary goal!!), but there is a large discrepancy between my measurements on a resting day and on a PE day.
For example, yesterday on my resting day I measured 20.5cm (a bit over 8in BPEL) and today I measured 20.2cm BPEL (after roughly half a day of ‘rest’).
This difference of 0.3cm seems small, yet I’m interested in what time-frame these ‘soon to be permanent’ differences are equalized.
A week? Two?

You also could be measuring differently.

Personally, I’m usually even larger post-workout. You might try a good stretching session complete with warm-up after your session to combat this? I do fowfers and it really seems to elongate the shaft for a good period of time.

What does your PE consists of ?


Starting stats: 6.4" / 5.6" Current Stats: 7.4" / 5.8" Short term goal: 7" / 6" Long term goal: 8" / 6.5"

I do a fairly small routine and I have read the links sta-kool (multiple times:) ).
For me taking it light and slow works like a charm since I almost got an inch gain so far (and no signs of slowing down).

I start off with a 2-3 minute warmup, followed by stretching left, right and straight out for 35 seconds. After that I stretch down for 40 seconds.
I then do a 1 minute testicle massage and repeating my stretching again. This is followed by another massage for a minute and then I do 50 3 second jelqs (slow 3-seconds),
once again a minute of massage followed by the second set of 50 3 second jelqs. After this I do a cooldown for roughly 3-5 minutes.

I’m sure of measuring the same way, no drops in EQ.(It’s still rockhard but just a bit shorter afterwards)
And if it matters, I’ve been PE-ing for roughly 8 months now, mainly going for a minimalistic approach (focused on length)

I also get this “hard, but shorter EL/EG” after PE,but I do some long hours hanging. I’m surprised you get this response too after what you do. You should follow firegoat’s advice on stretching it gradually. I think that could help

As a minor update, it seems that most of the recovery for me occurs during the night. I measured again this morning before I had done PE and it was back up on 20.5cm.

In response to Alin; it’s only the EL that’s shorter, my girth is the same (but then again I don’t focus on girth).
I think it is my habit of lots of coffee and beer (student) that makes it take a while before I’m fully recovered.

Anyway, thanks for all the suggestions/advice!
